I was there. It was awful, but probably one of my favorite game memories. Sat in UW section which was an awful location, southwest corner/curve of the coliseum. Remarkably strong showing by alumni despite Ty and the awful product on this field. Beers were had. Cathartic.
I was at that game and yeah the least competitive I think UW has ever been in a game I was at. That USC team could have won it all if they had a four team playoff back then
I too was there and stayed until the bitter end. I think Fouch fumbled or threw a pick late in the game to secure shutout. The game didn't nearly feel as bad as when Sark got shut out at home against Stanford. Maybe it was because I had expectations at that poont? Who knows. I can echo the husky seats were horrible. Kinda wild they'd win two years later, mostly because Lane Kiffin was retarded, even though Jack Lockner ball security was partially why it was so close.
I'm not able to get to many games, but I was there when Nebraska ran it right up the gut something like 20 times in a row to score multiple TDs en route to destroying the Fighting Lockners by 50 or so. It wasn't just the score but the appearance that Nebraska didn't even have to try. They just lined up and ran the same dive up the middle over and over and over again, and the UW D couldn't do a damned thing to stop it.

Thanks Taft!
Letting Ty stay on the sidelines after getting fired was the gayest, northwestiest, pussyiest move I’ve ever seen. What a fucking nightmare.🤦♂️🤦♂️

I painted my chest and wore a wig to help form “Sekou’s Wiggs” in ‘97 when Makovicka did the same thing to our paper tiger D.
No, “Mighty Mouse” Burton was not the answer Lambo. Drunk and dejected, I was that day.
