If Fisch goes 5-7 or 6-6 he isn't the guy. Fuck 'worst OL situation' and all that. Schedule is a joke outside of 2 road games and maybe SC if (big if) they are very good.
DeBoer supposedly had this all time bad DB situation from Lake's recruiting and here his defense at halftime has only giving up 3 points to Ewers in a home game for them.
Well I'm 6-0 and just won an instant classic over Michigan in a raucous Husky Stadium in my created roster version of NCAA Football 09 so that's a good sign.
I know this is the popular opinion — that Fisch would give his left nut and one of his adorable daughters to be the Gators' head coach — but I think if his true goal is the NFL, he's in a better place (or at least a place that is just as good) to get there at UW.
So the stepping stone is UW to the NFL, which in my opinion would be quicker than UW to Florida to the NFL.
My gut feeling is this season is going to surprise everyone. It's either going to be 6-6 awful and the running joke from now to eternity will be " yeah, but Bill Bellicheck was at practice!) Or we will squeak into the playoffs and UW will officially be Bagman U competing for Natties every 3 years
It took Fisch a year (and an injured starting QB, right?) to get his reads down at Arizona.
This isn't my sole reason, but it's one of them. This is a better roster than what he started with there, but it has some missing pieces and hardly any continuity. I think it will be a mess until I see otherwise.
I predict a rough start and then a rally (wait til the midget freshman QB takes over!) and maybe a little momentum going into shitbowl season. 7-6 or 8-5 ish.

You're in the wrong place.
Literal el oh el

Got damn hammrheads!
Not football but the 🥎 transfer portal is maybe pointing to Tarr being out..
Hard to talk about UW football when we have no fucking idea what's going to happen.

I'm in a strange mental place. At this moment I have ZERO expectations for '24. Not good, not bad.
8-4 is the minimum
Fisch is a good coach
Fisch also has some snake oil salesman in him and I wouldnt be surprised if Napier is fired and Florida hire an 8-4 Fisch
Weird times with the transfer portal following a fever dream of a season and a DeBacle

So there is a couch to be sold?

No expectations at all. I don't know, and I'm struggling to care.
I'm just here for Kim eventually declaring the Northern Colorado QB transfer to be Penix 2.0
Lookit, we? had to beat out William & Mary and Dayton for this guy.
Nuf said.

The schedule sets up 5-0 rather easily with the Michigan revenge game in Seattle coming up.
Plenty of time for a team to gel
@Buttgers will tell us a lot about the skwaaaa
