Its a pretty sad looking situation. On paper, probably the worst o line since the early Sark years. Hope we can somehow grab a couple more guys whoactually move the needle
I will agree with one comment made by DR and elaborate just a little. The success of this season hinges on what they are able to do with this line. If he’s able to patch together, and somehow get this team to 10 wins, I’ll be all in and he will no longer be fisher of boys but rather fisher of men.
There's not much out there and saw rumblings the JC Gladiator guy might have academis issues. The OL situation is one of the most baffling I've seen following the Huskies.
I'm not in the camp that our OL is in dire straights. In overall language our offense is taking a step back from last season(shocker) and our defense will actually be better, so I'm expecting 9-10wins, rather difficult wins at that. Having a deeper selection of good RB's is going to help The OL situation.
"Unlike other positions, the transfer portal seems to be offering up only a hodgepodge of offensive linemen. Proven players are scarce."
"Proven" is kind of an overused word (99% of job seekers put this on their resume). What Fish seems to have done is the realist approach of loading up on some guys with size and potential.
