Man, looking at it strictly through the perceived lens of how it positively or negatively affects the American economy? Your own bottom line? What? is something I will never subscribe to. It appears you would let Russia run roughshod on Ukraine if it allowed you to come up with some perceived American financial benefit concocted in your head . Morals and humanity be damned. Sometimes I think you are halfway decent Bob, but this ain't that time, yikes.
I’m not talking about just a financial benefit. There is a war going on, it was preventable but that is another topic. That is reality. Many thousands of people have died because of our insistence on Ukraine winning than would have otherwise be alive. We know that it could have stopped in April 2022 in exchange for neutrality. Don’t talk to me about morals and humanity when we aren’t interested in a peace where we didn’t get everything we wanted.
Did you dad ally with the Nazis to divide and conquer Poland like Russia did?
Only one of these countries was on the Nazi team. Until Hitler backstabbed them. Russian revisionism likes to omit that pesky little detail. Russia was just as fascist and power hungry as the Nazis and had no problem allying with them. The fact they ended up adversaries was not up to Russia.
"But Ukraine was Russia then". Yeah. As a conquered and subjugated district.
The USA has caused the death of thousands by supporting Ukraine's invasion defense. The USA is to blame.
There would be peace if the USA allowed Russia to ravage Ukraine and commit genocide and atrocities within the area that the USA agrees is acceptable. We wouldn't be in this mess otherwise. It would be a win-win for everybody. The USA should do this and it's the USA's fault it hasn't happened.
The past is gone. The past has passed. I would love to talk about Hitler and Stalin but there's a menace on the loose in Eastern Europe right now. Today, not some fanciful past or future. It's high time we stand up and do something about it, political identity aside. The possibilities behind Vlad's designs and alliances escape many. It's real shit. If I had my druthers the world would be doing more. Name every piece of weaponry that nations held back and eventually gave them anyway. We'd be here for days. Fucking Christ. The world has largely kept Ukraine behind the 8 ball fighting its own nightmare without allies against a legitimate fascist regime with imperialist and genocidal designs that haven't been seen on this scale since you know. Meaningful supply and support from the very beginning may have ended Vlad's hopes at the jump. Maybe. The nuance behind the past is too much for any of us to handle and coulda woulda shoulda is simply noise. We have a problem on our hands now that needs to be dealt with now. Not dealing with it now would be turning a blind eye to an enormous and global strategic risk that could spiral out of control in a real way. Should be taken quite seriously. These motherfuckers amirite? Holla at your boy PGOS. U my Ukraine guy
There was a government in Ukraine that would have accepted a negotiated peace two years ago. The USA deposed them and inserted a western friendly one instead. Actually there would have been no conflict if the US hadn't stepped in and flexed its muscle. Now massive tax payer money is gone as the domestic debt sky rockets and thousands and thousands of Ukrainian lives have been lost. At least the war economy is roaring!
Was there not a preexisting elected government in place in Ukraine? Yes or no? Did the US not overthrow that government and replace it with their own so they could have unfettered access to a country on Russias border? Yes or no? What would the US do if this were done to Mexico by Russia? What would they do? Understand your enemy, and make no mistake Russia is our enemy, and try to know why they do what they do. The US has unclean hands in this tragedy. I mean this juggernaut of a military that can't roll over tiny Ukraine was going to blitz all of Eastern Europe? Threaten the west? Get out of here with that shit.

Other than preventing our own humiliation, what is there to tangibly gain at this point if Ukraine wins?

Lots of wars and genocide in the World
Russia is not better off than they were in January 2022. Please lay out your argument as to how Russia is better off in 2024.

Right
I got this right?
This could have been long over if we wanted it to be. Disagree?

So Vlad is Hitler but you aren’t willing to send your own troops to stop him? Just Ukrainian boys and men? Where are your morals man?

Russia and Ukraine have been fighting a proxy war in the DPR/LPR since 2014.
Great Russia enabling as always. Blameless little old Russia just happened to invade, they had no choice!
So fucking stupid.
Keeping the laundry running!

No.
Ukrainian's were the force behind the Euro Maiden protests.
Were those all undercover CIA goons, just like the hundreds of thousands risking their lives now?
The US middles as it always does, but without Ukranians wanting an independent Ukraine none of this shit happens and it's Russia.
lol

Has democracy prevailed or does Zelensky need more allowance money?
