Said is a mad house in Eugene, main parking lot sold out and had to park 1/2 mile away. Sounds like optimism is high after huge Fiesta Bowl win vs Liberty (unsure of their mascot). Live pic of student body descending upon Autzen. 904 days its been.
Which is why players seem willing to go there and be a big deal on a well-funded contender with an enthusiastic donor base instead of an afterthought in Seattle behind the Seahawks and a mushy fanbase begging for our Phil Knight. I’m somewhat fearful that last season was the peak for the foreseeable future now that USC and Oregon also made the jump to the real big time, too. The Ducks are more committed to their program and USC rolls out of bed and gets recruits.
A unreal amount of NFL talent on that roster last season and came so close, but hoping to contend every year when recruiting classes are in the 20s is almost impossible in this age.
It's not apathy. It's having better things to do than watch a modified practice (it wasn't an actual game) with 10+ players on the team who won't be by Fall, and without another 10 who will join between now and then. As long as fans show up for the real games, who cares about a random Friday in May?

Looks like dirty white Nike's and discount Vans are in style.
46 is gone, guys.
He'll be back, as will Bob. Both will spaz out again.
Kill me if I ever go to a UW Spring Game.
I’m not sure if that group of Quooks who went to the UDub spring game in full Duck gear is a good troll or a pathetic moment. Could be both.
That said, apathetic fans is one reason we’ll never be a consistent contender, and that’s OK.
To be fair, this is probably the event of Spring in Eugene. I can't imagine there's much else on the social calendar there.
