Apologies in advance… sorry for not shitting on Franklin going after three Husky receivers. He’s the GOAT in college football history though on the GREATEST TEAM EVER!!!
I try not too gloat too much on a kid losing money but we're talking a good five years of back and forth on this guy between Duck and Husky fans. The dust has settled and I would have loved him to WR4 for UW. If I remember correctly they made him a captain or made him their guy for their hype video before the 2022 when they thought they were gonna win as some told you so. Congrats.
Agreed on ZTF. Dude was an agile 280 in 2020. Hopefully he can get back close to that. Listening to him in interviews though…he kinda seems over football.
Never really thought about it until the podcast but it might suck for ZTF he didn't leave early after 2020. He was red hot coming off those few games before the injury and it seemed like at that time because of covid scouting for next levels in sports was kind of fucked up and he could have got drafted in a good spot but who knows.
Seems like a super dynamic kid. Him and Culp were by far the nicest and most engaging players that went by our tailgate after games this season.
Every single team in the NFL has drafted a Husky. And the Seahawks are nowhere near the worst offender when it comes to avoiding them. The team with the biggest Husky draft drought is the Vikings, last taking a Husky in 1988.
Four teams have not drafted a Husky this century: Giants, Jets, Vikings, and Texans. During that same time period, Tampa Bay has drafted by far the most (eight), followed by the Falcons.
The Seahawks have drafted seven Huskies since Minnesota last did.
hahahahahaha totally forgot about that. Golden. Guy has five alcohol and driving things on his wikipedia alone. AT what number should someone just have to permanently have a blow and go?
Nice. You do this research yourself? I've always thought the Seahawks have been fine with drafting and signing Huskies even though they seem to get crap about not. Maybe they're still shellshocked by Jerramy Stevens.
Seemed like the Raiders in the 2000s would have a decent chunk of Huskies too.

This omission is unacceptable. Please re-record the podcast.

Thanks Taft!

I have a great video of my son shaking ZTF’s hand and him blowing his vape away from him
Aldon Smith got arrested for threatening to blowup an airport too.

Seems like the Rams and Cardinals are Husky lovers, too. But maybe the stats don't back it up. I'm too lazy to look.
Besides when you have @1to392831weretaken in the house, why bother?
I had a few minutes to kill during lunch. Just listed the 32 teams, went to this link:
Started at the bottom and worked my way up, putting a tally by the team name for every draft pick until all teams had a mark.
There's also a notable undrafted free agents section at the bottom.
Can confirm
Ex-Husky great Doug Martin was a longtime Viking
Dom Hampton was born to be a Washington Cammander.
He’s the first Husky here that I can recall as a draft pick/UDFA since like Kevin Ware. Brunell obviously late career too.
Incredibly impressive. 3 coaches ago you had a good one.
