That song has not aged well. I didn't like it when it was fresh, though. Just sounds super generic. Definitely something you hear at the grocery store.
It's pretty damn hard to have something be universally liked enough to be a diamond album and not have it have some redeeming quality you can acknowledge even if it's not your cup of tea.
I’m a big fan of this one here. This album and Jagged Little Pill are in the sweet spot of pop albums it seemed like every kid had at the time. Probably like what Glenn Miller is to Race Bannon
The overall SportsCenter stuff gives me deep nostalgia but the smartest guy in the room trying way too hard host stuff from back then didn't age well to me.

Hootie's cousin was a pretty darned good wrestler for Nooksack Valley HS

Critics liked The Beatles and they sold a few records.
The best Hootie song is a cover of Canadian alt rock back and a B - side. So fucking damn catchy.
I don't like the Beatles

I don't judge.
My journey with them happened in a different time and place.
I didn't love it then or now. Just the overall vibe and the video harkens me to a better time. Opening four cuts a powerful lineup.

The best part was Chris Berman announcing baseball players Lance "You sank my" Blankenship and Bert "Be Home" Blyleven
My nephew at a Husky game started referring to Drew Sample as Costco and it's stuck ever since. Drew "Costco" Sample.
It's actually pretty easy
