Honestly this wins any contest for anything, hands down. Live in the studio not on stage, but there was a small crowd there. Greatest recording ever, greatest jam ever. It's not close.

Needs video to truly count. I guess I never led with that prompt, so fuck me. But how else can I experience it? What if I was deaf?
That bein said, this is hot. -
Yeah good point on the video. Didn't think of it.
Jimi's guitar and vocals are obviously sick, but it's the drumming and the chemistry between the guitar, drums, and Winwood on the organ that makes it so amazing. It edges Shine On You Crazy Diamond and Soul Sacrifice live at Woodstock as my favorite rock recording ever.

Dickie Betts, doing Dickie Betts things…

I was bein an ass. Live audio counts too, I've decided. Vids are just more fun because I can pretend I'm there and it shows off talent/technique/emotion a bit more.

Much respect to Warren Haynes as well…

When diss tracks were interesting.
One of the top comments…"Playing lead guitar at your own funeral is wild..."
Chills. Always loved the Nicks-Buckingham dynamic. Also Mick Fleetwood doesn't give a fuck. He's just blazin, having a grand ol time, wondering what the big deal is.

Saw that on X yesterday.

That's a keeper. Wow.

94 year old Leroy Van Dyke is still a salesman.

Unfortunately the actual musical performance isn't included, but I nominate this:

A little dead-thumb blues for ya…

I'm enthralled by this shit. Weirdos and onesies rocking the fuck out.
3:28 is the smoothest move I've ever seen in live rock n roll.
-
Okay, boomers.

I'm on a Scott kick tonight and this thread needs life. Solo acoustic doesn't get much better.

Where in Mount Vernon? I can't think of a single place there other than the incredibly odd Broadway themed bar that won't just be confused by any song that isn't one of the 12 generic ones.

I think it was Draft Pic's

good topic

Townes hit that at the end, I'm assuming.

Three truths…
I do not particularly care for the album version of this
I am a sucker for a mandolin
Stevie bears a strong resemblance to my 8th grade Earth Science teacher

I actually do like the studio version. But that was cool too. His voice is damn near on par with his 60s voice.
