Nebraska is a downgrade from Washington in every position besides AD. That place can raise money and sell tickets. Never gonna win shit though cause kids don’t want to live in that shithole.

Nebraska has full share B1G money, Matt Rhule and Fred Hoiberg running their two biggest sports and great facilities. For the next six years the lifting is easier in Lincoln than Seattle. Pair that with the location being closer to his extended family and the choice seems easy.
What does UW's dogshit in-state recruiting say about living in Seattle?
Wonder if UW's administration and/or the "powers that be" are pushing to divide NIL and media rights dollars equitably among male and female athletes regardless of whether their sports are money makers or money losers?

My take is that Dannen (or his wife) hated the gloomy gray winter and/or Dannen realized turning around the UW AD was going to require too much work.

Having moved back to Seattle from California, I can tell you politics has very little to do with 30 million people living in So Cal and me wanting to go back and a million moss heads huddled in Seattle hoping for a month of summer as they load the moving van
