Nebraska is a downgrade from Washington in every position besides AD. That place can raise money and sell tickets. Never gonna win shit though cause kids don’t want to live in that shithole.
Nebraska has full share B1G money, Matt Rhule and Fred Hoiberg running their two biggest sports and great facilities. For the next six years the lifting is easier in Lincoln than Seattle. Pair that with the location being closer to his extended family and the choice seems easy.
What does UW's dogshit in-state recruiting say about living in Seattle?
Wonder if UW's administration and/or the "powers that be" are pushing to divide NIL and media rights dollars equitably among male and female athletes regardless of whether their sports are money makers or money losers?
Having moved back to Seattle from California, I can tell you politics has very little to do with 30 million people living in So Cal and me wanting to go back and a million moss heads huddled in Seattle hoping for a month of summer as they load the moving van
Seattle has lost some of the factors that made up for the weather.
UW was in the Natty for him. He simply showed up with some cigars.
He smells like a dude who thinks he already put in his time at Tulane and now it's time to retire on top of bags in Nebraska. He isn't the first coach/AD to go do that there.
He picked the worst 6 months to be there then. Christ.
It's not like Lincoln is some sweet place to endure the winter. Plus if you want to skip town for a warm weekend away enjoy your nonstop flights to Denver and Chicago.

But, but, but … UW has a football president.
I read it here

If you think that they're dividing NIL equally just because the school is in Seattle/liberal you're a retard. No need to wonder there.
Sweet it's been a few weeks since we melted down from a UW athletics debacle
They fill up an entire football stadium for volleyball, and don't blame the AD when football hires turn out to be shitty.
Good for traffic
Fighting for Clicks!
Seattle is only a great place to live if you're in tech or a flaming liberal.
If you make money, you never have to deal with the city's libtardedness if you know what you're doing.
My take is that Dannen (or his wife) hated the gloomy gray winter and/or Dannen realized turning around the UW AD was going to require too much work.
It had little to nothing to do with politics.
Everything has to do with politics these days for some, so they should TAKE IT TO THE TUG!
I’m done

it looks like the guy is a fuck up anyway. His most relevant action was to 1) lose Deboer and 2) the entire football team along with it
Well, except that the population in California declined the past few years and Seattle's has grown.
I recently moved to Sammamish and now look down on the unwashed pours of Seattle.
Holla at your boy!
