Rutgers is in New Jersey, upstate New York seems a bit out of the way, even if your definition of upstate is white plains.

I mean it’s the 3rd closest new conference opponent to where I live but we also play the 2nd closest next year, which I will be prioritizing (Penn State).

Indiana is closest this year, but if we (?) play NW next year, would be about an hour away. Illinois would be 3
