Our main board was averaging a new post every 45 seconds. This morning, we only had three posts between 9am-10am Pacific Time and I had one of them. I know its the slowest time of year, but still. I haven't seen it that slow since maybe Feb 2021.
I know it will pick up later but as a numbers guy its something that makes you go wow, just wow.

Shit sucks ass around here right now.
This is what happens when @Fire_Marshall_Bill’s hatred of chincredibles is allowed to manifest.
Basketball team sucks, this is where a decent squad positioning itself for a tourney run keeps the people engaged.
Transfer Portal also killed signing day, there's nothing to discuss until post spring portal finalizes.
The sport is in a state of paralysis because of all the unknowns.
-who will enter the transfer portal and who will we get
-who are the players on our team
-Will the players on our team today be on our team the next time it plays a game
-what will the playoff structure be
-how will the teams be determined
-does NIL continue with the complete Wild West or will the sport have some guardrails and rules
-does FSU get out of the ACC now and collapse it
-does this B1G/SEC alliance just break away
-what even is college football in the future
We should be talking about the B1G but in such an environment it’s like why bother.
Also after such heavy posting before the Natty I’m sure many needed a bit of a break to do things which were neglected in the run up to Natty. I know I did.
Once the big picture shit gets figured out, and assuming it’s still an interesting sport, people will be back.
22-23 was an awesome fever dream, it all a sudden seemed so easy to be a championship team. The rule of averages says we’re in for a decade of lip dick football.
The forum changes were pretty brutal and it's a dead period
Come spring ill be dooging. Maybe.
I have eased Pup’s pain with Fancy Feast.
I'd like to enjoy last season a bit first
It's like the day after the super bowl - our pick for next year!!!!
Let it breathe. It was a dream season with a nightmare finish
I think the squad survived. We'll see
If ever a documentary is done on the 2023 season, "Dream Season with a Nightmare Finish" would be an awesome title.
can we get some hot talk of the 2025 24/7 recruiting rankings?
Sounds like a great title for a book on UW football.
Maybe I should bring back the Hardcore Husky Beer of the Week feature? That’ll bring the clicks.
That reminds me that Mike Seaver left. Big hit to clicks
Are you suggesting we need to take a walk on the beach for perspective?
A lot of new nihilist-dawgs?
That, and all the starters but 2 and the entire O line is gone
Deboer was going to lose all those players to the draft too. Polk and Dillon Johnson weren't staying just so that Grubb could go fuck up some more 2-minute drills against Rutgers.
Eh, I don't really care. The 91 team or the 84 team can still claim the crown, but 14 fucking wins in a row. Had to beat the defending conference champion, the defending runner-up + Heisman on the road, the two state schools treated you like it was their Natty, etc. You get the #5-6 team in the country pretty early in conference play which is not easy..
And the last 2 of those are basically "here's the hardest team in your conference, and then here's the team that most people think is the best team in the country or at least the most talented and you have to play them in a home game for them. Again."
All the rival fans can jerk off to the replay of the Natty but this is still my favorite team of all time and it isn't close. For what they did in 2022 as well.
Except that Bazey came up with the idea.
