I'm really jammin on Prodiscus Jokeris and Gateway Devil Hawks lately. Prodiscus and Gateway are slowly taking over all my putter/mid slots. Besides my putting putter, that is. The Legacy Rebel, hallowed be thy name. Awesome deep feel, nice little microbead, plastic feels great in all conditions, just awesome. Pretty stable as far as putting putters go but it suits my putt well and doesn't leave me with long comebackers. Wizards would be a decent comparison.
Reno/Tahoe area is my local. DG paradise down here. Expand that zone to Reno to SF and it's fucking ridiculous. I hit all the gems in the Seattle area when I'm in town. SeaTac and South Fork Landing in North Bend the most.
I have over a thousand discs so if you need anything...

I swing a Taylor Made driver, Srixon hybrids and irons, and Callaway wedges. Also a Taylor made putter. Currently playing out a large lot of Callaway chrome softs that I bought a couple of years ago.
Don't have any disks so I just use my clubs for golfing.

I used to golf. I like disc golf more now for a variety of reasons. Lot of similarities though when it comes to swing mechanics. Golf videos/drills are often used in dg instruction. Anyway, I don't expect many responses in here, but maybe someday. I think it's the fastest growing sport. Maybe pickleball is. Disc is up there.

Hey I don't think golf is gay even though it's also really, very gay. I like golfing, I have Titleist clubs, but let's be honest with ourselves. You really can't come up with a sport much gayer.
Also an M6, ZX 85 2,3 and 4 hybrids, Z565 irons, a Cleveland RTX 48* wedge, and X series Jaws 52 and 58 wedges. Putter is a Spider Mallet.
I was just thread jacking out of pure meanness and desire to ruin whatever small part of someone else's day I can. I have nothing against frisbee games. I like playing catch with one and throwing it for the dogs. Played a bit of Ultimate back when I could do such things as the nature chicks I worked with during the summer dug it. I tried a little fris-golf and it didn't click for me. It just felt like a minimalist substitute for golf.
I've been on a few golf forums and what's in the bag threads happen pretty often. I guess they were equipment oriented forums. There are a lot of golfers here but not many equipment junkies from what I can tell.
I'm laughing. I posted this thread in zero-expectation jest because it was the first time I've ever visited this subforum and I saw a huge golf thread. It's all true though. I love disc golf and I'm well rated. It's the shit. If one Husky fan responds with a comment that implies they know what the fuck I'm blathering about, I've done my duty. And that's to figure out who's as cool as me. It's really hard to find that.
I lied. Two-man luge is a little gayer than golf.
You actually have over 1000 discs? That’s pretty wild. I don’t think I have over 1000 of any hobby related item besides bullets.
You're not cooler than me a-hole. That luge gif is top notch, but you you need a longer record of posts that good before you go making such wild claims.
Addiction and obsession have been common themes in my life, for better and worse. Last winter was my cabin fever disc obsession. I'm over it now but I still have them. There's a large collector component to discs so a lot of these are just in storage to sell down the road at this point.
I mean look at this Rain Man shit FFS. I am both proud and not proud of the way that I am sometimes.
