Weird to miss Cary Conklin in SB 26 on the Redskins. Unless this was players active for the game? He was the third string QB but listed on the roster.
Center with 4 appearances
I read it as guys on active rosters.
Looks like Conklin was on IR by the end of the year. So yeah he probably shouldn't count, but his wiki lists him as a superb owl champ. Rookie Keenan McCardell was also on IR that year for the Skins and got a SB ring.
I never knew McCardell was originally a Redskin. I remember him as a Jag.
Tryon and potato were on the bucs 21 roster
Tryon played all 17 games and started 6 so odd miss
Potato Only played one game but he still got a ring
I looked up harald hasselbach out of curiosity with the last name
Not what I was expecting lol
Wasn't expecting a black Dutch dude lol.
He got 4 snaps at uw, one of them tackling Emmitt Smith
He eventually got to really play at husky stadium...... in the opposing locker room when the seahawks were playing there.
What a weird journey from not getting a whiff of playing time in college, to starting 29 games (including a superbowl win) and playing 131 during the broncos hayday
Interesting stuff, rip Dutch dawg
Tryin wasn’t on the Super Bowl team. He was drafted after the SB.
You're right, whoops
Potato still got a ring though (albeit practice squad)
Easy to mix up the year when looking up super bowl in the spur of the moment... for example, upcoming super bowl is obviously taking place in 2024, but it's the 2023 season super bowl
I had to look it up to confirm my memories of where I was for that SB.
Millen got a ring with the Cowboys one year. He talks about not wanting to ever wear it because he never suited for the game. They cut him mid year when they traded or signed for Bernie Kosar. You get a ring if you were part of the team at any point of the year I’m pretty sure.

I forget the story, why did Bolten flip to Mizzou again? Just because Gregory was a piece of shit?
Qualls got a ring … can you imagine that? Holy shit …
I believe Gregory said WDWH and told him to look else where.
I think it was Petersons rule of flirting with other programs. He wanted to take the visit to Missouri while he was committed and they told him if he went then he better go there because they wouldn’t want him back
I highly doubt Gregory told any commit WDWYA; he was far too shitty a recruiter to do that.
I think Pete’s rule was, if you commit to us and don’t take other visits, we’re committed to you but if you take visits, we’ll offer at your position and once the spot at your position is gone, it’s gone.
