Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.
The first 12 hours of silence from UW / DeBoer's camp means, at the very least, that DeBoer took the call and were considering it. That's not bad.
Silence after that, which is where we are now, is that DeBoer is in negotiations to see who offers him the better deal. That is bad.

He is going to pull a Sark and cancel. He gone.
DeBoer is milking UW for every penny and he absolutely should. And UW needs to pay him that plus 5% on top of that.
If A&M can spend 100 million to fire Jimbo, UW can take care of the man who almost won the natty in year 2
We will have zero productivity the rest of the day.
Fuuuuuck.
Surprised he left
I had to tell he left Fresno after 2 but that was a big step up and there’s only so many programs that are a step up from UW.
What this guy has a reputation for, especially now, is maximizing what he gets of every player in the program and winning in an outsized way in years 1 and 2 rather than in 3-4 years after he “gets his guys in there”
That is a very, very unique talent (in a sea of Peterman’s and Sarks) and may be worth significantly “above market” to an Alabama (even more so than say Michigan at this point)
He's writing the check as we speak
He also knows that following Saban is career suicide. I'm sure he's keenly aware that he could float between 9 and 11 wins here with decent bowl performance and have his seat remain nice and cool for at least 5 years.
Alabama is going to be a radioactive place for at least a decade.
Unless he's the kind of guy who loves money enough to encourage a bidding war, and he doesn't seem like that kind of guy, I just don't see it happening.
