I see that modern college football…

@Sandra6 can tell you that is a GOOD Rutgers squad
I get the complaint that even when Mario wins it can feel like a loss. He should recruit and hire someone to coach -
-
Having to regularly face Ohio St, Michigan, Penn St, USC, and a UW that might care about football again will likely fuck up the maff here, but no coach should ever leave the comfy confines of Oregon. Yeah, you have to live in Eugene, but it is clear that any idiot can recruit and win 10 games a year in that magic bubble.

This thread reminded me they were playing. Saw the score not the game. JFC.
Oh well. Off season natty still in play.
At least he’s doing that so when someone comes in who can hopefully coach he’ll have full cupboards like the ones that were left for that one guy who can’t beat Washington. -
Sorry to hear about the divorce Mrs. Cristobal.creepycoug said:This thread reminded me they were playing. Saw the score not the game. JFC.

I think offseason natty is gonna be pretty hard to claim based off this bowl game and fuckery done by meat during the season, his seat is too warm.creepycoug said:

I’m thinkin offseason ny6 (not including playoffs) is your ceiling. -
I'm maybe the only guysm left here that still loves the fuck out of Petersman, but, considering what all's transpired since, his winless record against Meat remains to me the greatest mystery of his entire tenure at UW.

No mystery about it. He prioritized the O line and ran the ball up UW's butter bean. When you can do it, it still works. When you can't but continue to try, it's about as ugly as it gets in football.1to392831weretaken said:I'm maybe the only guysm left here that still loves the fuck out of Petersman, but, considering what all's transpired since, his winless record against Meat remains to me the greatest mystery of his entire tenure at UW.
No great riddle to be solved here guysms. -
Now you're going to start "when Oregon was down" sub-threads, and frankly, they learned that trick from the best.1to392831weretaken said:

Playing for a shot at a natty and recalling Chris Petersen's big wins against Oregon 7 or 8 years ago is not the look of an aspiring blue blood. Saban literally can't remember who he beat for his second (or third) natty. -
I'm thinkin you don't know what the definition of off-season natty is.rodmansrage said:

Sounds like you get to keep the 3-0 vs UW trophy in the settlement though. -
Wow, quadruple shitpost from @creepycoug. Somebody's triggered...

"Triggered" jumped the shark about two years ago. I'm just choosing to not aggregate responses. Emotionally, I'm pretty stable these days. Not like Mike, who despite protestations to the contrary cares quite a lot.1to392831weretaken said:Wow, quadruple shitpost from @creepycoug. Somebody's triggered...

And against UNC. It doesn't hurt that much when things are this bad. The grace of acceptance sets in. It's when they're close, but no cigar, that it stings. You may tell everyone you don't care, but inside, you do. Your act is not that convincing.MikeSeaver said:

As to 3 and 0, that just won't go. Look the euphoria your friends in Seattle are experiencing and tell me that 3 and 0, or at least 1 and 2, doesn't sound pretty good right now. -
I can do, and have done, this all day. Just ask around.MikeSeaver said:

You missed Race's edit. When I replied to his post, the post was a figurative SAT analogy question that read like Petersen : Oregon :: Lanning : Washington. My response was that Petersen didn't have an Oregon problem (see: 108-24), he had a well-documented Meat problem. Which is not only math, stats, facts, but was actually giving credit to your ex-wife. You, being eternally on the defensive at the mention of anything that's lower than five degrees of Kevin Bacon separation from Miami, kicked into quadruple shitpost mode.creepycoug said:

Miami will be good when J shows up in FL in a few weeks. Cook it!
