Honestly, it’s pretty unbelievable that UW is now the #2 team in the country. I’m happy about that and definitely think Texas is a better match up.
Seattle is far enough away from the rest of the country that no bowl game will ever really be a home game for us. Teams in the south are always at a major advantage in that regard.
I’m only pissed because I personally wanted to go to the Rose Bowl. I will continue to bitch about the other stuff for fun? Habit? I don’t even know anymore. -

To almost everyone else, especially outside the P12 footprint, we are non threatening. The only reason UW wasn't the shoe-in for the #1 seed was a stretch of close wins against teams that the other contender beat soundly...the same contender that UW beat twice.
Two wins over Oregon, road wins at top 15 Arizona, at OSU and at USC were so much better than what any other team accomplished. There really shouldn't have been a question.
But fuck it. That wouldn't have helped UW win. Half of the reason why UW fell off so much was that *we got caught up in the media love after trouncing the first few opponents. This team is better off as underdogs
