How sure are you? Bone starts healing at 14 days. From there it’s a sigmoid curve time versus healing with a right or left shift based on a number of factors

I would guess he had very bruised ribs and that happened at the end of the Oregon game.
I’ve had cracked ribs and I’ve had bruised ribs; bruised are a lot worse. Cracked ribs could be managed with Aleve. Bruised ribs were like getting stabbed every time I breathed heavily. If he was playing then he had cracked ribs, at worst.
