The nonsense talk around Oregon being “better” than us? in the national media reminds me why the playoff came into being (but took my beloved bowl system away in the process).
Polls, or having to beat a team head to head…it’s both the beauty and frustration of sports. There’s never an end to the debate of who the “best” team was.
The Huskies could beat Oregon in the CCG, crush every team in the playoffs, solve world hunger and there would STILL be motherfuckers that doubt them and give the Heisman to Bo Nix. -
