Hardcore Husky Podcast: Humdinger Huskies Now in a Class by Themselves
An explosive offense that made the needed plays against a tough, physical Utah team. A defense that gave viewers heartburn in the first half but somehow saved the day in the end. A remarkable head coach that suffuses positivity into his players regardless of circumstance. These are the 2023 Washington Huskies: 10-0 for only the second time in school history and headed to Corvallis for a showdown with 8-2 Beavlet.
We also answer questions from posters and succeeded in not going down the Texas A&M rabbit hole. The show opens with A.I. Norm MacDonald responding to a listener question. Editor's note: During the broadcast, the poster BananasNBlondes sent in a $50 donation to Hardcore Husky, along with a demand that Cowboy Pup be brought back for show openings. Cowboy Pup shall return next week!

Yes, this is a cheap plug to the fact that the pod has an official Twitter account now.

Long live Cowboy AI Pup!
The refs this week at the Colorado game were terrible too. One Buff fan shouted “so glad we’re leaving this shitty conference!” An Arizona fan, two rows behind him, shouted “amen, brother!”
And RE: the baseball stuff, the Japanese love the home run celebration stuff. Look at any of Shohei Ohtani’s stuff - he always throws on a samurai helmet and does crazy shit.
Furthermore, the reference on the pod started with Japanese baseball before I corrected myself and realized it was Korean baseball, where flipping the bat when hitting a homer was accepted showmanship as part of the game, in contrast to the Huskies being flagged for a celebration penalty where it was considered disrespectful to the opponent or whatever. Nothing bizarre about the point at all. It was spot on, if I do say so myself.
