You don't have to be so cold-shouldered.
I'm still your pod, pod.

Napoleon Kaufman wasn't a legit candidate?YellowSnow said:Sure, we've had better overall teams in years past, but 2023 presents the greatest marketing opportunity ever for UW.

In 1994, he was a second-team All-American, finished ninth in Heisman Trophy voting (receiving three first-place ballots), and is a member of the University of Washington Hall of Fame. As of 2022, Kaufman still held UW's career all-purpose yardage record, amassing 5,832 total yards. -
Boys on a boat? Stop living in the past pisssnow. You were not even there, only race was there

I don’t think he had nearly the national attention that Penix gets. A lot of reasons for that (more than five). The PAC-10 knew him well but outside of the conference I think he was just another great runner.DerekJohnson said:

Ended up second team All-American and ninth in Heisman voting.
Emptermann was a more legit candidate than Kaufman. -
Returning for his senior year to a Lambo team that was on probation and stumbled to 7-4 while birthing Oregon. For his loyalty alone he deserves a fucking statue next to Don JamesYellowSnow said:

He rushed for 1,440 yards that year and had his team been USC or Notre Dame he would have won it going away. To say he wasn't legit is fucking heresy you hammrhead. Puh! -
I've met them IRL when they were in their early 80s you bonio. And there's a direct lineage from those boys to all the crews that came in their wake.FireCohen said:Boys on a boat? Stop living in the past pisssnow. You were not even there, only race was there
