I think Kari Lake could have been a star in the GOP but then she decided to hitch her wagon to the 2020 loser.

Dazzler says there are plenty of internal controls, he just can't explain what they are and how they work and if you offer suggestions he says they aren't needed. Like that box on your DMV voter registration that you check to say you are an American citizen. That's some internal control according to our hypothetical MBA.Bob_C said: -

Hey they totally swear that that they are American citizens and no one ever checks their claim against the citizenship records, in fact, the state of California actively fights any effort by anyone to do so. Why wouldn't you think they're citizens?WestlinnDuck said:

The voter rolls are the main issue in my opinion. As much as I hate the Federal government, the best solution to all of this is to leverage the IRS/SS database. Have the states send their proposed rolls to the IRS/SS, who cross check last filed tax address and citizenship requirements and approve proposals that match and reject ones that don't. SS clears out the dead people. In theory eliminates the lag problem that happens in a lot of places, including Washington where I still get three extra ballots for prior owners every election. Every social security number gets released only to one jurisdiction.SFGbob said:

If you didn't file taxes, you don't get to vote. Have a separate process for people that moved after filing taxes where they need to create action themselves. Anyone that turned 18 after tax filing and before election is exempt one time until they file taxes and are treated like anyone else. -

A Pennsylvania court on Friday ruled the state’s mail-in voting law is unconstitutional, with the case likely heading to the state’s Supreme Court.
The 2019 law allows any voter to vote by mail without providing a reason and contains a number of other provisions aimed at making it easier to cast a ballot. Republicans are arguing it violates an amendment to the state constitution.
Commonwealth Court Judge Mary Hannah Leavitt agreed with that argument, writing the law violates the 1838 amendment that says a person must vote in-person on Election Day unless they meet certain criteria. She wrote the law can only be changed through another constitutional amendment.
