Thanks Taft!

Maybe I'm the only one who thought he missed all sorts of throws and looks brittle.
I'm pulling for him, but if I'm an NFL GM, he's probably gone before I would draft him. I don't buy the hype.

72% completed
10 yards per attempt
15 yards per completion
Not dink and dunk -
Receivers routinely running free with 5 yards of separation.CFetters_Nacho_Lover said:

35/40 was easily achievable for a Sunday QB.
And he does look brittle, so there's that. You have to hold your breath if he has any contact with a player or the ground. -
This isn't that hard. Lots of big plays. I get it.
But Boise's secondary looked lost.
I'm telling you what I see, not what I wish I was seeing.

Since Day 1 I've been an enthusiastic Penix supporter, but there is a grain of truth in what Dazzler is saying hereHHusky said:

I don’t disagree with the brittle statement hence the reason I didn’t bring it up.HHusky said:

Which is why I root for him to get some guaranteed money from any NFL team not named the Seahawks.CFetters_Nacho_Lover said:

72 percent winging it down field. Big play offense not dump offs -

The wide-open misses, and there were many, against this MWC opponent don't come back to haunt you.

For a guy with mild dyslexia Penix Huard Bumpus looks a lot like Penis Hard Bumps.
-
This is really in depth analysis. He did miss some throws. He also made some throws nobody else is making. He's already really good. The scary thing is he can be even better. I'd be thrilled if he ends up with the Hawks.

He missed two bombs early and one out route later...all 3 detailed in the vid that DNC posted. Were there more?HHusky said:

Gosh he doesn't hit 100% of the lowest percentage throws out there. Sad
The dink and dunk experts don't hit 70%

The arm is potentially great if made more consistent. He makes the hard throws look simple at times, but he also makes the simple throws look hard at times. If the platform the arm is attached to breaks down though, nothing else matters.dnc said:This is really in depth analysis. He did miss some throws. He also made some throws nobody else is making. I wouldn't use much draft capital on him because I don't think he's built to withstand contact. He needs to survive enough snaps to become a starting NFL quarterback. I don't think he can. -
This is classic holding the black QB to a massively higher standard than white QBs.HHusky said:

His arm isn't potentially great, it is great already. The injury aspect is a mild concern.HHusky said:

To say his arm isn't great is an odd comment. It's the best arm of any Husky QB I've ever seen.dnc said:

We have a different standard for “greatness”. I like the ball put on my wide open receivers.DerekJohnson said:
