Who is the worst on the KJR currently?

I haven't heard enough of some of them to know. I've never heard of Akbar. My question is, why do these radio tools talk so much about inane shit like their dogs, kids, commute, faggy drinks (75,000) etc. It's fine once in a while but these jerkoffs devote large segments to it so clearly ikt's planned.

Dick BairdI have never listened to Elise, Puckett, Brewer, and Akbar. Dick Fain's name looks familiar, but I can't recall how good or bad he is either. I can't imagine them being as bad as Softy, Baird, and Hugh, but they have votes, so they must be pretty bad.
The only guy on the list that has some talent is Mitch, although I haven't listened to him for a few years. I don't always agree with him, and he's not the most knowledgeable guy about local sports, but he is an entertaining on air personality. He is also a good interviewer, and he gets good guests. I used to really enjoy his weekly segment with Beano Cook. -
Brian Akbar
I actually like Mitch but put him on here because some people seem to hate him. I think Mitch is the only guy worth a shit on KJR personally.RoadDawg55 said:I have never listened to Elise, Puckett, Brewer, and Akbar. SoftyI find the 2 Cougs who have the mid-day slot more tolerable than Softy or Elise.

Brian AkbarAbkar wins a close three horse race between him Elise and Baird, I cannot remember agreeing with his opinions once

Jerry BrewerThe brewery has got to go. I think he should hit the brewery before the show starts. Hugh is right there, but the brewery brings nothing to the table.

Jerry Brewer
Not very crisp, but I agree with you.jecornel said:The brewery has got to go. I think he should hit the brewery before the show starts. Hugh right there, but the brewery brings nothing to the table.

Softy
Worse in what way?
Softy is the most obnoxious.
Brewer is just fucking stupid. (And compared with Elise that saying a lot)
Baird is just embarrassing. He reminds me of Pat O'Day doing Schick-Shadel commercials.
Helps me moderate my drinking. -
Jerry Brewer

He's the only one that seems to enjoy local sports, but isn't in bed with any of them so he's willing to call bullshit rather than suck up to coaches and never be critical of their performance therefore most doogs hate him.
Fain and Softy are just slightly more sober versions of Baird; living in the magic snow globe where it's all good. Fain was on the air defending Tyrone right up to the week he got fired, that alone should tell anyone that he doesn't know jack shit about anything.
What's the only thing worse than Elise? Jerry Brewer so great call putting them both on the same show. The only purpose they serve is to make Ian Furness listenable or maybe bump the ratings at 710 or 1090. Elise and Jerry are just terrible, I'd rather listen to Groz and Gas talk nascar than that incoherent mess.

Brian AkbarIf I were to rank these guys best to worst it would probably go this way
Best:
Mitch, a good balance, mixes in national stories as well, just wish they had him on at a better time
Furness, like his opinions
then it gets tough
Hugh, at least he doesn't hand out candy canes to everyone associated with UW, don't really like him
Fain, he's okay, not good but not horrible
Softy, shows passion, fucking idiot, but better than the rest of the shit
Puckett, knows absolutely nothing
Brewer, he actually knows something however I consider voice as criteria for a good radio guy and his voice is cringeworthy
then it gets really awful
Elise, complete homer, and an apologist would be the worst on probably another other station
Baird, just flat out awful
Abkar, annoying voice, but his idiotic opinions cannot be matched.
