The only guy on the list that has some talent is Mitch, although I haven't listened to him for a few years. I don't always agree with him, and he's not the most knowledgeable guy about local sports, but he is an entertaining on air personality. He is also a good interviewer, and he gets good guests. Fain and Softy are just slightly more sober versions of Baird; living in the magic snow globe where it's all good. Fain was on the air defending Tyrone right up to the week he got fired, that alone should tell anyone that he doesn't know jack shit about anything.

What's the only thing worse than Elise? Jerry Brewer so great call putting them both on the same show. The only purpose they serve is to make Ian Furness listenable or maybe bump the ratings at 710 or 1090. Elise and Jerry are just terrible, I'd rather listen to Groz and Gas talk nascar than that incoherent mess.

Mitch was the only one who was against Ty then was against Holt as well. You are right that Doogs hate him. They always bash on him on Softy's page. I like Mitch and respect his opinion.

Softy is just an obnoxious fan who kisses the ass of the UW department. He will never question a UW coach or AD while they are employed. He has no problem bashing on the players though. His annoying laugh is terrible too.

As for Elise if Seattle wasn't so PC she would have been kicked to the curb years ago. She failed at the night slot, she failed at the 3 p.m. slot and I'm going to assume she's failing at this slot as well. Brewer I don't mind his opinions but his voice and lack of personality is terrible.

KJR is a mess and I really hope 710 picks up UW sports when their contract runs out.

Wow, I didn't realize Elise had moved around so much. Women just don't belong on sports radio or in most rolls on any sort of sports broadcast. It's like putting straight men on The View. It's awkward and it doesn't work. But it is Seattle so all the PC morons probably think its great. The same people go to Storm and Husky women's basketball games to prove how progressive they are, not because its entertaining.

I have to agree. I know that's not the pc or correct way to think, but it is what it is. Whenever I hear a woman announcer on ESPN announcing a football or basketball game, it is always evident how bad they are.

It depends. Sometimes there are women who can fit in and hold
their own in the realm of sports talk.I haven't heard her in a few years but I used to love that show
hosted by Suzy Colber and Jaws
and Merrill Hodge. She was great.

She was decent. There are some exceptions. But that womam that does NBA for ESPN needs to go.


There's a local radio show that has some shrill woman who jumps in all the time and opines. I mean she interrupts and is really pushy. Luckily she isn't on every day.
