President Joe Biden's executive order to authorize the military to call up 3,000 reserve troops for operations in Europe shows that "his reckless escalation in Ukraine" is "straining the U.S. military to the point of disaster," former President Donald Trump said Friday.
"Just last week, Biden shockingly admitted that our arsenals are so badly depleted that the United States is running out of ammunition," Trump said in a statement released through his presidential campaign. "Now, we see the ranks are growing so thin that reserve troops are being forced to support Biden's calamitous policy in Europe, while our own borders remain undefended."
Biden's order, announced Friday, comes after tens of thousands of reservists last year were sent to Europe after Russia invaded Ukraine. It was not made clear if Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin will deploy the reservists soon.
Trump said after the order was issued that it will prove dangerous.
"Joe Biden can't even walk up the steps of Air Force One without tripping," Trump said. "The last thing this incompetent administration should be doing is pushing us further toward World War III."
Trump also repeated his declaration that if he is reelected, "it will take 24 hours" for him to end the war in Ukraine.
"Biden has proclaimed that he will continue sending American treasure and weaponry to fuel endless war in Ukraine for 'as long as it takes,'" said Trump. "When I am reelected, it will take 24 hours. This conflict must end. Not one American mother or father wants to send their child to die in Eastern Europe. We must have peace."
Trump further promised that as president that he will again "rebuild America's military and restore the readiness and deterrence that Joe Biden has so dangerously squandered," while returning to a foreign policy that "puts America first and allows for peace through strength. -

I fell asleep but he didn't end his campaign today so there's that.
He's a standard politician in the wrong year to be one. Of course he's better if he gets the nomination but he won't be running against Biden. Newsom will kill him among women
