The DA is alleging that this a a NY Crime in the nature of a campaign contribution to Trump's campaign because avoiding bad publicity helps the campaign. Well, then almost anything would arguably qualify. Buying nice clothes for Melania would be a crime. Hell, buying off Paula Jones could be deemed a campaign contribution for Hillary's senate campaign.
