I'm not sure what testimony is needed. Trump paid off Stormy with a $130,000 NDA which she violated. That's not disputed. The DA is alleging that this a a NY Crime in the nature of a campaign contribution to Trump's campaign because avoiding bad publicity helps the campaign. Well, then almost anything would arguably qualify. Buying nice clothes for Melania would be a crime. Hell, buying off Paula Jones could be deemed a campaign contribution for Hillary's senate campaign.

Hillary was actually fined for paying for the dossier with campaign funds. Little noted nor long remembered
That's the point. Trying to undermine a duly elected president is supposed to be a very bad thing. Men paying off women to keep sex quiet is as old at time and is not a crime.
Unless they’re election fraud lawsuits which don’t go anywhere ever, then it’s cool.
Everything is fair game now as we've seen since 2016.
    Sometimes we agree.

Mello can't even define Trump's crime let alone care about whether a crime was committed. Same with both of Trump's impeachments. Quite the American. Keep rooting for the away team.
