We might be bad for two more years

25% chance this was a coaching rot issue
Based on what we had on field what's coming back, and what's coming in, I vote door number one by miles from here to sun.
Name me a position group outside ILB (where we have two guys who can't get hurt or ever come off field) w/ Edie and Carson you feel good about next year?

Why didn’t Racanelli play? He was hyped in spring and the first couple weeks of fall, then nothing. Has to be better than McMillianRoadDawg55 said:
Softness needs to not be tolerated. Make it a program where if you aren’t tough you get ostracized. When McMillan gives shit effort, bench his ass. We won’t miss his two catches for 18 yards. Turner, nuff said. If a DT is showing shitty effort (it happens often), run their ass till they fucking puke. Get the 5 best OL on the fucking field. That’s a Huff being an idiot issue, but still.Houhusky said:Literally cut 1/4 of the team and bring in guys that actually want to get better, talk shit, and aren’t afraid of contact.
I would rather watch guys that are working on maxing out their own potential and struggling than these front running pussies riding their high school rankings into carefree losses.
Imagine getting punked that hard on your own field and the only guy that showed any fight was a transfer.
It’s time to reset a standard. Everything earned, nothing given, evaluation is just as, if not more important than stars
I know some here now and former posters always would yell about putting gamers and the “talented” players on the field. Of course we want talented players but there isn’t one fucking guy besides maybe ZTF (if he even comes back) that deserves anything. -
Damn, I was hoping DeBoer would do well in Year 1sonics1993 said:This isn't going to be a quick fix. A lot of things are wrong with this program.

The players in the portal that are needed to change Washington aren't going to be coming here. Especially for a Fresno State coach who they don't know. This is going to take multiple recruiting classes, especially with the talent Oregon has loaded up with. The best I can see is Washington being competitive is in year three if everything goes right.ntxduck said:As much as I’d like to agree, in the age of the transfer portal you can fix things (obviously dependent on making a good hire) quicker than you used to. And this conference sucks. There’s no reason a good coach can’t make a bowl next year and go 9-3/10-2 the year after.
Alotta oops in this thread.thechatch said:
Oregon is a QB away from running the table in this shit conference with relative ease. No other school can say that.AtomicDawg said:
Oregon lost to Stanford and was blown out by Utah. They’re good, but more like how uw won the conference in 2018. Nobody in this conference is untouchable. This Utah team is not any better than the other Utah teams of the last 4 seasons and they were dominating a lot of their games. This conference sucks. You can get results so much quicker.sonics1993 said:

Yes this team sucks. Not saying it will happen. But nobody has a stranglehold on this conference.
Turns out UW was a qb away and Oregon wasn't -

You are not wrong, but until we have a competent QB, we aren’t winning. I also think the new coach will probably have to boot even some talented guys and if it’s needed, so be it. Some of the effort is absolutely terrible and players have an inflated view of themselves. That’s been the case at WR for awhile.AtomicDawg said:I don’t think it’s hard for any team to get quick results in this conference.
