Montlake Futures appears to be finally getting it together. I’m encouraged with the rumor we got out bid by tOSU for LK because DeBoer & Grubb can develop a QB but this system is going to attract top QB talent & they will drop a real bag on the QB who they think is a game changer..

Whatever has happened behind the scenes the past 6 weeks to lock guys in to run it back gets the biggest stamp of approval I can find. Fucking awesome to see kids with legitimate chances at NFL $$$ sign on for another here to build on this year.

Is there anyway Smalls would contribute inside next year if he put on 10-15 pounds? Listed at 260 right now and is about to be lapped by Holtzclaw and Heims

I’d like to think the light comes on at some point and he can contribute meaningfully. But, it also seems like he went 4 years of HS getting stroked by coaches that didn’t know what they were doing. He plays slow because he’s still learning the game in ways you don’t expect for someone that has played as long as he has. Seems like a good kid. A lot less twitchy playing the interior and he was looking pretty bulky last time the camera flashed to him on the bench. A lot less depth on the DL right now

This is the real truth. UW shouldn’t sign any DE’s that don’t get a single sack their senior year.
