Fair. I guess my point is that University of Sioux Falls is better than most all HS teams not named maybe Mater Dei or St. John Bosco. They are all 18-23yo young men and all of them were good enough high school players to play at another level. HS teams are 14-18yo kids. Most great HS teams have maybe a couple players that are superior to USF but the rest are trash. They would get killed by USF. Alabama aint beating the Chicago Bears and 99.81% of HS teams aren't beating a small college team. I'm not saying he's gonna be a game wrecker, don't twist, but he is crushing small college players and appears ready for some sort of promotion.ntxduck said:

Answer? Yes. He's running down small college RB's and shoving small college linemen into the backfield with ease. If this were HS tape from California he would be a high three, four star type recruit. Get him the strength and nutrition of an offseason at UW and see where he lands. Good get. Now do LB and DB please.

This is also his first year playing defense, since he was QB in HS and converted from TE at USFtheknowledge said:

At 6'5" and 250 already, he has plenty of potential and should contribute next year -
Bullshit. He looks sudden and plays with a high motor.ntxduck said:

There are tons of 4 star kids from big states who don't play with this guy's edge and violence. He knows how to use his hands, has a nice get-off, and flashes some spin moves.
This guy is already better than every UW edge from 2017 till ZTF.
If Savvy could do half the things this guy does he would live up to at least three of his stars.
Watch again. -

I think he looks good. I try to ignore competition level and focus on what a guy does. It wasn't easy to ignore the hapless, undersized OL, but still. He looks like a good pass rusher and a twitchy guy for his size. -
Eh, I doubt that. D2 guys are still 18-22 years old and much bigger and faster in the two deeps than even the best high school teams. You're literally comparing boys to men.ntxduck said:

Now of course that's a double edge sword - it means Durfee doesn't have the same buffer of potential as a similar high school kid would. He's already halfway developed. -
The dude is big, fast, and looks to have great instincts.

You are normally a pretty good poster, but fuck oh dear you are a TBS moron sometimes.ntxduck said:

Did DeBoer take Kienholz as a favor? -

I will admit to being overly judgmental oF kids from non-football states. I just don’t respect players from leagues who are out there clowning on dudes who look like @backthepack . Maybe it’s because Oregon has been burned so much over the years by “highly rated” recruits from Oregon/WA/Idaho/nebraska/etc who show up and are immediately buried on the depth chart by 3* kids from CA/TX.RoadDawg55 said:

Not that there aren’t busts from those places, too. But Oregon’s biggest busts seem to come from places where the competition is….questionable. We(?) have a 4 and 5* on the roster right now from nebraska who look like they’ve just picked up the game in the last 18 months. -
I see your point, but I would say that maybe all star rankings are bullshit? We see 2 and 3 stars pan out in the NFL, and the people making the rankings aren’t coaches/colleges, just teenage boy stalkers.ntxduck said:RoadDawg55 said:

Kleinholz was a 3 star a year ago, and if he wasn’t from SD they would’ve gave him the 5th after tOSU offer; stars seem not to be a projection of an athlete, but simply the sports political power that they hold.

6-5 250 with athleticism, whats not to like? One has to assume he is in the heavy rotation in 2023. Good pick up.
