Beat Vegas @ Vegas, 4-2. They’re currently one of the hottest teams in the league, and seemingly play as well on the road as at home. Will be an interesting December/January to see how they unfold. Still newish to hockey so don’t have a good enough feel on how sustainable it is, but I do know enough to say it’s night and day from a year ago this time.

Kraken score goals now? In an absolute shootout tonight, already have 6 in the second period. Scored 5 in their last game. 8 in a game last week. Wild chit. They have absolutely climbed the standings. Plenty of time for shit to hit the fan, or not. EWIWBI.

Should I pretend to care about the Kraken now or wait until the playoffs?

I’m not that invested in it but it’s a fun winter weeknight distraction when they’re playing well. The roster isn’t that different from last year, but they’re playing a much more enjoyable brand of hockey. Worth some attention, wouldn’t plan your weeks around it. I miss most games.BennyBeaver said:Should I pretend to care about the Kraken now or wait until the playoffs?

They on Root? Don’t get it.

7 straight. Beat the Bruins 3-0 in Boston last night. Boston had scored at least a point in every game at home this year which is bananas.
Last I checked Kraken lead the league in away goals, telling stat that bodes well for the playoffs (barring a collapse).
Night & Day from a year ago. Still feels a little too good to be true, but this is their second significant winning streak in 2 months. I like teams that know how to get hot.

As much as I dislike watching hockey on tv, I have a leg up on the bandwagon…
