Wilcox is really on borrowed time if he's throwing out offers to unproven line coaches.
Even if Huff pulls in recruits, he won't be around long enough to reap the benefits. Wilcox might want to see if Sark is around after the Alamo Bowl.
I've been a critic of Huffs for awhile, but he's earned another year here. I wouldn't be freaking out if he left either. -

Career suicide for Huff? I guess you take the $500k / yr raise for the two years you get and then latch on at another FBS program as an OL coach afterwards.

It depends on if he wants to be an HC sooner rather than later. If not, he could remain OL and then potentially move up to OC if / when Grubb leaves. If he is in a hurry, he probably would take the OC job and hope he gets a few years as one before getting his first swing at HC for a lower tier Pac-12 school or the Mountain West.BleachedAnusDawg said:Career suicide for Huff?
