Question tim for the bored board

I ask because I’m having this discussion with friends and there are some disagreements on whether to pull that trigger.

I'd trade Odunze to Texas for their best defensive player of our choice
-
No.
It would be nice to have a talented running back though. -
I don’t deal with hypotheticals.
-
Both have been contaminated by Sark, no
-
I like Penix better than Ewers right now
By a lot
I like Odunze too. For this offense Bijan would be great but we don't want him anyway -
Quite honestly
-
QB is the most important position and Ewers is not as good as Penix.
This team is averaging 40 ppg with no real rushing attack. -
Would you trade the entire defensive staff for Nick Holt and a gas station burrito? I'm having this debate with a friend.

Quinn Ewers was 19 for 49 against Okie State. That sucks donkey dick.theknowledge said:One season only, would you trade Penix and Odunze (UWs two best offensive players) to Texas for Quinn Ewers and Bijan Robinson. No other changes to the UW roster.

Your friends are idiots. Get new friends.

Yes, KDB with Ewers and Robinson would be 7-1 minimum.
A great RB makes everything a lot better.
Charbonet is the major reason ucla is good. -
I might consider trading Penix for Josh Allen and Odunze for a guy like Deebo Samuel, but that’s twisting my arm if I’m being honest. It’s an issue of comparable skill sets that gives me pause.
-
we couldn't beat Cal with Gaskin and a GOOD defense. I'm team Penix.Kingdome_Urinals said:Yes, KDB with Ewers and Robinson would be 7-1 minimum.

Not saying I don't want a GOOD defense. Don't twist -
Always demand nachos! It’s like ducking amateur hour around here.RoadTrip said:

It's not sad, he's behind arguably the best pass rusher in the league and day 1 NFL pick plus Martin is playing at All-Pac level.
I'm not a Smalls fanboy, but I never really knock backups if the starters are ballin.
It's only bad when the guy ahead of you is trash and you're the hyped recruit on the sideline. From what I saw he's shown improvement and will probably be better for the experience next season when Martin moves on.
Shit on Danny Hammer for not doing anything in the LB unit before smalls. -
For a 5-star recruit, Smalls sucks balls. You can explain away his shittiness all you want, but he should have been a 3-star based on what he’s shown to date.
If that. -
5-star year three should be a starter.TheHB said:For a 5-star recruit, Smalls sucks balls. You can explain away his shittiness all you want, but he should have been a 3-star based on what he’s shown to date.

another overhyped, overrated PNW recruit…LebamDawg said:

Anyone who actually watched Smalls in HS saw an early bloomer playing well against little PNW coffee barista twinks
People who live in the PNW do not understand how vastly easy competition is compared to teams in Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, or Georgia.
Even the little all white honkeyville districts have a big boy or two that could have matched up with Smalls in atleast size in high school.
Don’t twist, Smalls could still get it together and turn into a solid player, but dominating while being lazy in high school is a TUFF habit to break. -
Glad this thread is on defense where we? Don’t need to talk 5 star QBs
-
Should be a very good starter. Not JAG.BleachedAnusDawg said:

I would replace Oklahoma and Alabama and add Florida and Louisiana. I don't think either the state of Alabama or Oklahoma are the hotbeds of recruiting that the others are. Louisiana, in particular, doesn't just punch above its weight - it punches with the big boys - but you consider the size and population of the state and the number of players from there, it's mind bottling.Houhusky said:

A mind is a terrible thing to bottle.
