If Lake doesn't decide to get a job next year then it really shows that he just doesn't like coaching football that much. Lots of fired coaches jump right back into the saddle. Sark, Kiffen, Butch Jones, Clay Helton, Mike Locksley, Bret Beilima etc. These guys found a new job almost immediately, somewhere because coaching is in their blood. Whether they are good coaches or not it just goes to show that they, at the very least, love the work. Dan Mullen, Lake, Tom Herman. Those types of guys failed at big jobs, got big payouts and are content to sit it out. I'm just not really sure they really love the work. That would be a big red flag if I were an AD looking for a new coach.
Saban is the master at rehabbing people that failed and were asked to LEAVE. He hates quitters. Boris would be a Saban guy. Liz wasn’t around long enough for me to know. I admit, I had to look it up. Well done.

How many people get fired from the same employer twice though…?
