Joey riles up his nutty base to think republicans are an evil enemy. One of the people in the base kills someone because he believes the person is a republican extremist as Joey describes. "Fact checkers" swoop in and declare it had nothing to do with a leftist killing a republican extremist because the guy wasn't an extremist.
