The real problem with school shootings.
There is one common thread to 90% of these shootings: Lack of parental involvement/supervision. Poor parenting.
We have to hold parents accountable. If you have no idea what your kid is doing, its your ass. There is no other solution that works. You can load up the school with security but we already know that doesn't work. You can take away guns from law abiding citizens but we know that doesn't work either, it just emboldens the bad guys.
We have to get back to a society where there are minimum expectations of everyone regardless of your role or station in life.

Completely disagree.Bendintheriver said:Let's see. A cross dressing kid who's parents let him drink their booze and post photos of this while doing it. He purchases two weapons at 18 after having spent a number of years posting psycho shit on social media. He plays with the guns at home and is posting photos of them on his social media accounts, pretty big red flag right there. His social media accounts are alarming to some but they never report him or speak to authorities or his parents. If his parents did hear about it they clearly did nothing.

Generally these perpetrators are cowards. They go after soft targets.
The one notable exception might be the Ft Hood shootings - but even still that dude attacked a medical facility on the base ....

Parents? There is a certain organization that was given 10s of millions of dollars who’s stated goal is to “ disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and ‘villages’ that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable”
The dismantling of the family, absent fathers, feelings based relative morality, increased reliance on the government for basic needs, overmedicated kids on psychiatric drugs, kids disconnected from society and living it through social media apps, poor nutrition, lack of exercise, recreational drug use with more potent drugs than in the past, and many of the previously mentioned issues exasperated by government lockdowns. But let’s get up and yell “For Gods Sake” about politicians not passing just the right gun laws.
All of the above are cheered on by politicians, media and corporations. And if you disagree YOU are the problem. And most likely a racist, bigot, and a whatever-phobe.

The current ruling class seems hell-bent on making this a reality.
It's the adage that when all "mistakes" fall one direction, they probably aren't mistakes.
The directives have been so antithetical to a free society, distraction is the only logical conclusion.
Make no mistake, to this end, they are coming for your guns next.

Not sure the point you are making. It sounds like we agree.pawz said:

Chicago has some of the toughest gun laws in the country. They are a miserable failure. -
Convince me otherwise -but dude is posting pics of his crazy ass self on social media posing with weapons, had to be on the radar of the FBI, ATF, etc.pawz said:

The Buffalo shooter stated he went where he did because he knew the gun laws there were tight and it was much less likely someone in the store would be carrying.pawz said:

2012 Sandy Hook. Obama is president facing reelection
2022 Texas. Biden is president with historical low approval and midterms looming.
Are we? sure the GOP is the problem? The bullshit coming from the democrats is abhorrent
Just outlaw guns and get it over with you pussies.
Or shut the fuck up and let's do something about how we've fucked up our kids -
