Sounds like we got Will Nixon, a 5'10" 180 lb WR transfer from Nebraska. In 2 years for the Cornhuskers, Will racked up 5 yards on 1 reception and had 1 season ending injury.

Havent heard yet if he'll be playing the Chico role

Had an okay offer list out of high school

    https://247sports.com/Recruitment/William-Nixon-119332/RecruitInterests/

Including Penn State, ND, Purdue, and some others.

My guess is our WR coach (from Purdue) knows the player and thinks he can play.

I don't fault a player for fleeing the dumpster fire that is cornhusker football.
    Nebraska, 3-9 = “dumpster fire”
    Washington, 4-8 = ????????

Nebraska was able to win their nonconference games.

They didn’t lose to a FCS school at home.

    Moving on up?
I don't think you're understanding the situation there with Frost, but then again I don't expect you to understand much.

We have 3 healthy scholarship RB's in spring practice right now. This is clearly a depth fill, might as well use the scholarship they left open for Connerly

I don’t get it, though. Why are you taking running backs just because you have guys who are temporarily injured? Who are, in theory, better players to begin with? Get some fucking lineman. Get some fucking linebackers and defensive ends.

The way I see it, we are looking really good to win the Mountain West 2.0

Actually it looks like we are well-positioned to finish 4th in the Mountain West .

I’d guess we see a few RBs transfer after spring. Maybe they aren’t playing because they don’t want to get hurt. Finish the quarter and then transfer out.

The only one who didn't suck graduated. We whiffed hardcore at that position for years.

I don't get the doogs who liked Cam Davis. He looked slow against fucking Arizona and Stanford's d.

Berry and Megwa aren't a fit in the new offense. Sunday hasn't played but is probably a bust

These coaches seem pretty straight forward. “Hey, how does rushing for 700 yards and catching 400 yards of passes sound? Not good? Okay, well it might be time for you to finish your course work and leave.” Hence, no RBs to compete in spring.

Yeah, I've kinda wondered if Cam Davis and Dick Newton are just finishing up school and have already told the coaches they are leaving. Same could be true for Berry and Megwa.
