  I’m not gonna run down the 2016 team, but the way the Michigan got here and the way UW got there in 2016 feels different. Reasonable people may disagree.   People forget that the Stanford game was pretty big that year. People forget that. People also forget finally getting the Oregon monkey off the back (even if it was short lived).

  Disagree, there were a ton of parallels. Finally beating their rival, winning the conference for the first time in 15ish years, making the playoffs. I was having serious nostalgia watching that game tonight.

  It's been awhile, but in a single bowl season, 1985, UW beat Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl, USC beat Ohio State in the Rose Bowl and UCLA beat Miami in the Fiesta Bowl. That's pretty damned solid.
