Former President Donald Trump is leading in states he lost to President Joe Biden in 2020, according to a poll obtained by Politico.

Politico states that of likely voters in 2024, "the former president led Biden in Arizona by 8 percentage points, Georgia by 3 points, Michigan by 12 points, Pennsylvania by 6 points and Wisconsin by 10 points." The poll mentions that 600 likely voters were surveyed in each state.

The poll highlights that if Trump were to run again, the 73 electoral votes from those states would put him back in the White House, which would make him only the second president in history to regain his position after losing an election.

Narrator: probably the real vote totals from 2020

Breitbart's John Nolte, who commented on the poll, says, "one thing Trump should look at, and look at very closely, is how he is doing so much better on the issues that matter to voters than he is in winning their support. If you're up double digits over your opponent on the economy in, say, Georgia, but only ahead by three points, you have to ask yourself why."

Nolte adds, "and this is where Trump's weaknesses come to the fore, his sometimes off-putting personality. Through much of his presidency, he was, without question, victim to a corrupt media funded with billions and billions of corporate dollars used to manufacture lies, turmoil, and tension. But all too often, he contributed to this, made it worse, and wore out his welcome with a public exhausted by the unceasing drama and un-presidential ugliness."

Nolte highlights that Trump's success is mainly dependent on his self-analysis and whether he decides to put forth his best characteristics which would lead him to the presidency or risk letting the "petty, self-involved" parts himself lose it.

What ever. If the voters prefer the shit show we have now to Trump being mean then let them eat tofu and ride their bike to work to stay warm in the winter. The analysis isn't wrong its just meaningless. Trump is who he is. Biden is who he is.

Was it the way he was dressed? He was begging for it

But how does he poll against whoever is in charge in a couple years. A lot can happen in a couple years. I'd much rather see Desantis on the ticket, but that's me.

A rematch of Trump v Biden might end America. This cannot happen.

DeathSantis is promising but another Florida governor thought it would be handed to him in 2016

And Ron hasn't faced the full force of the smear machine aligned against him. He's going to have to earn it

If you are looking for a nice and popular GOP candidate you might as well vote for Kamala.

The democrats are alienating huge swathes of the population, but still clinging to the belief that the basket of deplorables just needs some more CRT and shit. I agree that no politician needs to be nice, AKA Mitt Romney, but any functional person could beat Biden if that piece of shit decides to run in 2024. All you would need to do is point to his record. Biden is worse than Trump. What we need in 2024 is a fresh start. No more shart.

So who is out there? Trump is banned from media and I still hear more from him on these issues than any other GOP

Time to step up and be heard

Literally no one has a shot past Trump and Ron. Gonna be some fun rhino candidates to follow along the way and watch get slaughtered.

Desantis wants to get re elected in 22 as Governor to launch for President. I wonder if it wouldn't be better to get another GOP candidate for Governor and just have Ron start running for president now. Get out and be the voice of the opposition

It's tricky to run for one office when you are going to start running for another one once you win. Not impossible but it will be used against him

I like what Desantis is doing in Florida. No question

As I have said if he is the nominee he gets my vote unless he goes wobbly which would be a surprise
