It's not about being nicer than Trump. It's being more disciplined than Trump, and hiring better people.

The hiring pool of GOP functionaries is polluted beyond saving

And outsiders get the message with every indictment

Most of the folks who stabbed Trump in the back were W Bush Republicans

Yep, Trump is a figher I'll give him that but you nailed the problems he created that didn't help his Presidency.

That's where my jab comment was aimed. He can be as mean and nasty as hell, but it can't always be with a haymaker. A surgeon doesn't use a butcher knife for a reason.

There will be no difference in what gets done by the Feds no matter who gets elected. Does anyone think the 3.5 trillion dollar stuff will be undone? nope -
There will more debt added and pork added to every bill to cover for what the Dems have done for the past 4 years (looking back in 2024) by padding their favorites. Deathsantis and Drumpf when elected will fail in any attempt to improve this mess, and if Biden gets re-elected when the mail-in election is counted, we are still screwed just like today.

The best thing that could happen in 2024 is for the vote be tied 2-2, the candidates and their wives are the only ones that vote. I don't think voting works anymore - other than being able to state I did or did not vote for that

I think I have had it as far as politics go - I wish they would all just go away

I get this but there seems to be a huge difference to me

More so than in the past

Giving up is what "they" want us to do

My history of voting has always been never vote for an incumbent, do not vote for labor or business supported candidate, do not vote for anyone that has put a sign out, runs an ad on TV, etc. so I have never voted for a winning candidate. I have always been the voting results "other >1%" sometimes up to 10%

so I gave up before I started or should I say before they gave me a real reason to give up?

So you voted for Ron Paul?

I like Ron a lot but the machine in DC will do exactly the same as they did to Trump. Being nicer or less in the face isn't going to keep the hounds at bay that matter. The elites that are all in on a one party power system. DIMS.

Trump is like the prize fighter that traded punch for punch and in the end lost. But I'm hoping he learned and is still learning how to jab where it's necessary. I think he'd come in and when the dust settles after 6 months of an ass kicking clean out of the commies is complete, then it's onto the business of restoring this country. He has to know where to start, I think he does.

More like the boxer who lost on the three judge card by 3 to 2.
Went to bed and next morning there were thousands of scorecards. This is a job for Cyber Ninjas!

Nope - I normally vote Communist Party for president - I see what the Dems and Repubs are doing and decided to cut to the chase
