Was Comey a "top FBI official" Hondo? How about Strzok?

Published June 20,[8] Steele’s first memorandum alleged that the “Russian regime has been cultivating, supporting and assisting TRUMP for at least 5 years”; that Trump has “accepted a regular flow of intelligence from the Kremlin, including on his Democratic and other political rivals”; and the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB, formerly KGB) has “compromised TRUMP through his activities in Moscow sufficiently to be able to blackmail him.”[9] Among these are “perverted sexual acts which have been arranged/monitored by the FSB.”[10] Also, the Russian Intelligence Services had compiled a dossier on Hillary Clinton comprised mostly of bugged conversations and intercepted phone calls. This “dossier is controlled by Kremlin spokesman, PESKOV, directly on PUTIN’s orders.”[11]

When did the FBI open a formal investigation of Trump Hondo? Was there an investigation prior to that of Trump? When did the FBI learn about the Dossier Hondo? Why is it everytime you accuse me of lying I expose you as the liar Hondo?

And this is why Hondo the lying piece of shit said "Top FBI Officials"

On July 5—the same day as then-FBI Director James Comey’s news conference exonerating Hillary Clinton—Christopher Steele provided his research to an FBI contact in Europe.[12] He also presented his research to British intelligence.[13] Later that month, then-Deputy Head of Counterintelligence Peter Strzok began supervising a probe into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election process, including possible collusion with the Trump campaign.[14], [15]

On July 29, Steele authored a memorandum alleging that Trump foreign-policy advisor Carter Page secretly met Russian officials in Moscow to discuss the lifting of sanctions against Russia over Ukraine and the possible release of Russia’s compromising dossier on Hillary Clinton.[16] In another memorandum, Steele alleged that a Trump associate “acknowledged that the Russian regime had been behind the recent leak of embarrassing e-mail messages, emanating from the Democratic National Committee (DNC), to the WikiLeaks platform.”[17] Also, a Trump associate “admitted that there was a well-developed conspiracy of co-operation between them and the Russian leadership. This was managed on the TRUMP side by the Republican candidate’s campaign manager, Paul MANAFORT, who was using foreign policy advisor, Carter PAGE, and others as intermediaries.”[18]

The FBI was aware of the Dossier before they opened a formal investigation into Trump. My statement was 100% factually correct and as usual, the only liar here is you.

Maverick was shopping the dossier around DC.

When Steele went to court in the UK he folded and would cop to any of the Dossier being true. The FBI knew from jump the Dossier was crap.

You don't think Hillary couldn't get the opposition research that she had paid for, into the hands of the right people in order to do maximum damage? Hell wouldn't shock me if the Maverick was prompted by Hillary to do what he was doing.

How hard would it have been for the FBI to find out that it was opposition research being paid for by Hillary? They had to have known early on that was the case and if they didn't it was wilfull ignorance.

A series of 3 questions to Steele by the FBI would have been all it would have taken to uncover it.

Here's what I think Hondo. I think that Trump was already in the cross-hairs of the Obama Admin late in 2015 and early 2016. I think they had already set in motion ways that they could monitor Trump in order to assist Hillary by early 2016. I know that Hillary paid for the Dossier. And I know that an official investigation into Trump wasn't opened until the DOJ and FBI had been given the Dossier. I know that when they first applied for a FISA warrant they did so without using the Dossier and they were turned down. Something that is very rare. When the re-applied they used the Dossier as a source and it was granted. Claiming that the Dossier wasn't important to Trump being investigated is the real fucking lie here and it's one you've told for years Hondo.

Speaking of lies, do you still tell the lie that the Dossier was first paid for by Republicans? Because that's another lie you told for years and I haven't ever seen where you admitted that you were lying out your ass when you made that claim Hondo.

    Lil lyin Bob.

    Investigations
The FBI Operation Crossfire Hurricane investigation into Russian interference, which started on July 31, 2016, was not triggered by the dossier,[44][42][43][88] but the dossier is still the subject of the Russia investigation origins counter-narrative, a conspiracy theory pushed by Trump and Fox News.

The Mueller Report, a summary of the findings of the Special Counsel investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. elections, contained passing references to some of the dossier's allegations but little mention of its more sensational claims. It was a major subject of the Nunes memo, the Democratic rebuttal memo,[2] and the Inspector General report on the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

The investigations led to Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson being interviewed in August 2017 by Congress.[3]

John Durham has been investigating whether FBI agents "mishandled classified information" about operation Crossfire Hurricane when they questioned Steele. The IG report documents that a case agent mentioned Papadopoulos to Steele. The FBI has no "established guidelines for how to address the disclosure of sensitive or classified information to sources", and the Inspector General "concluded that the case agent should not be faulted".[352]

Durham sought to get more information by seeking access to evidence gathered in a British lawsuit filed by the founders of Alfa-Bank. A July 21, 2020, court filing shows that Durham has sought the lifting of "a protective order on evidence that had been gathered". Politico wrote that legal experts said this move was "highly unusual... and suggests the British government was not involved in, or cooperating with, Durham's criminal investigation".[352]

    Conspiracy theories
The Russia investigation origins counter-narrative[353] is a right-wing alternative narrative,[354][355] sometimes identified as a conspiracy theory,[356][357][358] concerning the origins of the Special Counsel investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections. These conspiracy theories[359][360] have been pushed by Trump,[44] Fox News,[45] GOP politicians like Representative Jim Jordan (R-Ohio),[359] and Trump's Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe.[361] In May 2019, U.S. Attorney General William Barr appointed John Durham to perform an inquiry based on this conspiracy theory, an inquiry described as a cover-up to protect Trump.[362][363] On November 2, 2020, the day before the presidential election, New York magazine reported that:

... there has been no evidence found, after 18 months of investigation, to support Barr's claims that Trump was targeted by politically biased Obama officials to prevent his election. (The probe remains ongoing.) In fact, the sources said, the Durham investigation has so far uncovered no evidence of any wrongdoing by Biden or Barack Obama, or that they were even involved with the Russia investigation. There 'was no evidence ... not even remotely ... indicating Obama or Biden did anything wrong,' as one person put it.[364]
The conspiracy theory aims to prove the dossier was used as an excuse for the FBI to start their Russia investigation. It also aims to discredit Steele and thus discredit the whole investigation.[365] The dossier could not have had any role in the opening of the Russia investigation on July 31, 2016, as top FBI officials received the dossier the following September.[366] Instead, it was the activities of George Papadopoulos which started the investigation.[367] The investigation by Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz into Russian interference and alleged FISA abuses found that "none of the evidence used to open the [original Crossfire Hurricane FBI] investigation" came from the C.I.A. or Trump–Russia dossier.[43]

The founders of Fusion GPS did not expect their connections to Bruce and Nellie Ohr, Steele, Hillary Clinton, and the FBI to "become public and subsequently provide the framework for a deep-state conspiracy theory".[59]

The dossier also figures as part of the Spygate conspiracy theory and conspiracy theories related to the Trump–Ukraine scandal. According to The Wall Street Journal, President Trump's actions in the Trump–Ukraine scandal stemmed from his belief that Ukraine was responsible for the Steele Dossier.[368][369] Trump has insinuated that the dossier had its origins in Ukraine, that the Clintons were involved, that Hillary Clinton's email server is currently secreted in Ukraine,[370] and that Clinton's deleted emails are in Ukraine.[357]

The dossier is central to Republican assertions that Trump is the victim of an intelligence community conspiracy to take him down. Democrats see this focus on the dossier as conspiratorial.[371] Congressman Devin Nunes, a staunch Trump defender, asserted as fact that the dossier originated in Ukraine during his questioning of EU ambassador Gordon Sondland during the Trump impeachment inquiry hearings in September 2019.[372]

Matt Gaetz and Jim Jordan have pushed a conspiracy theory that the dossier was based on Russian disinformation.[356] The Inspector General's investigative team and the FBI did examine this possibility, but Bill Priestap explained to the OIG that the FBI found no indications that such disinformation affected the dossier, and that it would make no sense for the Russians to undermine Trump.[38]

And I've stated that Republicans and the Washington free beacon were paying fusion GPS until Trump was nominated. And Hillary started paying them around the time the Republicans stopped. I've also stated that Republicans started the dossier which is incorrect. Fusion started the dossier after Hillary engaged them.
June is when Hillary talked to Obama about setting up Trump Russia crap, shocking they fbi opened the investigation then, shocking

So you agree that Bob is a liar and the dossier didn't trigger the Russian investigation.
Your candidates and office holders colluded to spy on Trump and used the states apparatus to do so. This is why Obunghole changed the rules to allow sharing of raw intelligence among different agencies and to agencies that should never have gotten it. Keep living in those red tinted glasses comrade! Forward!

Why it's pointless even responding to a lyng piece of shit like Hondo. I clearly said that the investigation of Trump started before the Dossier had been written, but the formal investigation wasn't opened until after the FBI had the Dossier and that FISA warrants weren't approved until after they used the Dossier as a source. But since you're a lying and worthless piece of shit, you don't respond to what I acutally say, you fuck strawman ass and lie.

Did the FBI have the Dossier prior to September of 2016 Hondo? Why did you lie and claim they didn't?

The Department of Justice and the FBI gave cover to Igor Danchenko, Christopher Steele’s main source, even after interviews with the bureau during which special counsel John Durham claims the Russian was not truthful, the Washington Examiner reported.

Danchenko is considered the primary researcher of the discredited Steele dossier. He pleaded not guilty Wednesday to five counts of making false statements to the FBI.

According to the Examiner, the moves by the DOJ and the FBI to defend the credibility of Steele’s dossier and his source were notable in 2018. And it all came a year after Danchenko allegedly lied to the FBI, while special counsel Robert Mueller continued his probe into any Russian collusion.

Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court Judge Rosemary Collyer in July 2018 was told by then-Assistant Attorney General John Demers that Danchenko had been "truthful and cooperative" with the FBI. His remarks came in a letter, the Examiner noted.

In addition, the DOJ knew Trump campaign associate George Papadopoulos had denied on numerous occasions any collusion with Russia during 2016 conversations with FBI confidential source Stefan Halper, according to the Examiner. But the FISA court was not made aware of those denials.

Hondo is playing his role by lying and claiming the Dossier had nothing to do with investigating Trump.

Hondo is a toxic polluter to every discussion he engages in. That's it and that's all.

Not a worthwhile or thoughtful comment in his entire existence.

So the compelling evidence for the collusion is...well, you guys know that Trump is totally corrupt, so it just makes sense that he did this.

It didn't trigger it, no, but it was used to get thr Fisa Warrants. What triggered it was crap given to the FBI from Hillary's bought and paid for Lawyer to create a new narrative.
