If you're living and working here without going through legal channels then you are correct, not everyone has an ID. The guys from Ecuador I built horse fences with 20 years ago didn't have ID. I did. We all made the same money except they were paid under the table I was forced to get a paycheck. The boss had to have some legitimate employees and I really needed a job. No complaints from me. That's life. I voted, they didn't. They weren't legitimate citizens. They could have been if they wanted to but then they'd have to pay yucky taxes and stuff.
Millions of US citizens do not have an acceptable voter ID. Doesn’t mean none of them ever had an ID at one time. But why does my Korean War veteran father need a current ID? He doesn’t drive, travel, write checks or get carded at the tavern.

I don’t think he should vote anymore, but I bet some of you approve of his politics.

How did the elderly vote in the 1960’s, 70’s and 80’s? My guess is they dragged their asses to booths and voted. Not hard.
They did unless they voted absentee. They were already registered decades before. No one asked for their ID in order to solve a nonexistent voter impersonation problem.

Some people don’t have an ID. That is simply true.

Given that voter ID is a solution in search of a problem, the cynicism of the GOP is really quite obvious.
I heard that from a Seattle soy boy for years.

Maricopa County has either a lot of incompetency, a lot of malfeasance, or both. If there was digging, we'd find the same throughout the country.

My 80yo mom gets her ID on line. It’s not hard. Maybe help your dad get his. He’s in the system. You could do it with him on your phone, but you don’t want him voting anyway so…
But you are making my point. Yes, some people have that family support. Some don’t. Anyway, he’s in Washington, so he gets to vote like a John Bircher without hassle.

These GOP suppression schemes are very much a product of known demographics regarding who is less likely to have valid ID. There are plenty of studies and surveys on the topic. If those demographics voted Republican, there would be no voter ID laws.

If there was any real cache of illegal votes cast by impersonators the GOP would be shouting from the rooftops about it.

This is a crime that YOU are required to believe is being committed as an article of FAITH.

I think you serve as a good example of the fact that it’s not stupidity that prevents people from voting.

Bullshit article from 15 years ago?

I can tell you the rate in my experience is just as high as any other race. I've asked many thousands of people for ID. I asked them from '87 to 2016 so I know more than your fake Democrat start.

    Illegal aliens have ID.

The Dewey, Cheatem and Howe school of law has done you well.

I doubt you have an ID or a bar card. They don't let you keep them inside.

Then link OAN’s or gatewaypundit’s study. What’s the real number?

And that’s not to ignore the non existence of the problem ID is supposed to solve:

And yet in nearly every state that has passed voter ID laws the number of black voters increased.

Despite voter ID law, minority turnout up in Georgia

WGAF about who does or does not have ID

Every one has the right to vote, if they can't figure out how to exercise that right it usually means good things, like not voting.

Imagine 11% of the population being homeless, not paying taxes, not receiving one bit of government assistance, never being able to have a bank account, write a check, have a job, own a car, dive a car, ever be able to get a prescription, visit a doctor, receive a SS check, pay taxes, enter an airport, a bar, liquor store, or ever having heat, electricity, a credit card, water, sewer.......... What I find most amazing is that 11% of the population can never claim their Social Security.

Imagine 1 out ever every 10 people in this country not being able to access any service or pay for anything because they have no ID.

Your article is bullshit. Far left rag published pure unadulterated bullshit.

Thats very generous of your elderly relative to give up his SS. How does the gentleman stay so healthy without health insurance or regular doctor check ups? Does anyone here believe that HH's elderly relative, a veteran, has no ID?
    More dishonest bullshit.

We all know you have claimed requiring ID to vote is racist. You still want to argue that Brown had his hands up, that Trump was colluding with Russia and that the Russians were just around the corner lurking. You are getting sloppy with your attempts to hide your liberal wackiness.

Your argument is that getting an ID isn’t a big obstacle. Neither was paying a poll tax.
Yes folks, @HHusky really is dumb enough to equate these two things.
