Briles was found "not guilty" of NCAA infractions in August. He is free to sign on with any NCAA institution with no penalty. It will never, ever happen but if this program is financially obligated to retain Jimmy this would be something to reanimate the corpse that is my fandom. UW offers him a squeaky clean athletic department, his AD would be a woman, and his head coach would be, and I say this loosely, a defensive minded coach. The offense would be his show completely. Two or three successful years at UW and someone would snatch him up to run their program. My mind spins imagining Sam Huard pulling the trigger in an Art Briles offense. BRBJO
That said, he will end up as an OC in the SEC because all they want to do is win, Briles is a winner and he doesn't give a fuck about sustainability awards.

Much like using Kwats defense to beat an Air Raid attack you use a committed power running game to neuter Kwats scheme. Good coaches can adjust their styles to beat any given opponent but UW has Pete/Jimmy stubbornly running their "stuff".NEsnake12 said:

Georgia’s defense this year is absurd. They’re allowing 4.6 ppg, but even that’s misleading because 14 of the 23 total points they’ve allowed in 5 games were garbage time TD’s against their 3rd stringers. They held Clemson’s offense full of 5 star players to 3 total pointsBleachedAnusDawg said:

I'd take Art Briles in a heart beat. This has been something I've thought about for a while. Agreed it however would never happen. If we? could get Urbs and Briles I'd doog in my pants every hour on the hour for a month with doog-citement. It would do wonders for the local bar scene. Not going to happen though. I could see Cohen settling for Mike Leach.
