My thought today

If Chris Petersen and Jim Mora don't dominate the dregs and leftovers of the Pac 12 they should be fired as one at the 50 yard line.

PDXDuckFan told me that the Pac-10 was down a few years ago, and it's only just now getting good -

Mora fucked up if he doesn't win the South this year.

This can't really be Race can it? I heard he died of the FBA!

One of Sark's five conference wins will be the curb stomping of Mora's Bruins, Kelly's replacement will be on the hot seat after Peterson's Huskies embarrassed the Ducks on the road and ends the streak.

So in the olden doog days it was UW, USC, and everyone else. Now it's UW, UCLA, and everyone else? Right. Methinks Oregon and Stanford aren't going away anytime soon. Or was your post tongue in cheek? I can't tell. The full-blown AIDS took something out of you. Like brain cells. Unless it was a whoosh in which case, nevermind... 2. Stanford will be mid tier for the foreseeable future.

Methinks you should try reading some Poe, Dickens, Brontes and other Victorian era writers, novelists, poets. The word, though not invented in that era, was commonly used in prose.MikeDamone said:

But if you're referring to their skillz, you're a fucking joker. They had total command of the English language and a solid ear for the melody of words. -

And the difference between Petersen and Mora? Petersen could be at UW for 10-15 years. Mora probably goes back to the NFL in the next few years.
-
Wow, couldn't disagree more on Mora. Why would he abandon the juggernaut he will have built? He's in the realm where he belongs -- college football!HeretoBeatmyChest said:And the difference between Petersen and Mora? Petersen could be at UW for 10-15 years. I think the competitor in him wants another chance at the NFL. I don't know if that will be in two years or five, but I see him jumping at some point. Who knows though? It's definitely jumping the gun to say he's building a juggernaut. He's building a very good program, but it's a tough conference and things can change quickly.DerekJohnson said:

It's a good idea to try to get a coach with higher aspirations and hope that he will jump ship to the NFL after 4-5 years, because if he does jump ship, it means you've had some good success. That's one of the differences between Chip Kelly and Helfrich. Kelly wanted more. Helfrich has stated that Oregon is the pinnacle of his career.

You're comparing Boise and UCLA.whatshouldicareabout said:

By all accounts he's a loyal guy, his wife loves LA, and if he builds something special that's something to savor not abandon for the Not For Long league.RoadDawg55 said:

I just don't see Mora at UCLA for a long time. I think another 4 years at most but thats just an opinion.DerekJohnson said:

I do think that one great thing about Petersen we haven't acknowledged is its very likely UW could be his last job. Having a great coach for 4-5 years is one thing but then having a great coach for potentially 10-15 years is another.
