Mario C.

Came out once again playing down to your opponent playing shit on a stick football and it cost you your starting quarterback and you’ll have to keep your starting 22 in for nearly all 60 minutes.
Both lines were disgusting today.
He’s Mike Bellotti with 10X’s the talent on the field.

Bellotti never beat a team like Ohio State.
-
Belotti was satisfied with a half-ass DC (Aliotti) for most of his head coaching career at Oregon.
What happened to Anthony Brown?
Missed the injury . . .

They haven’t said and he never came back out after halftime.trublue said:Belotti was satisfied with a half-ass DC (Aliotti) for most of his head coaching career at Oregon.

I saw him grab the side of his knee after back to back sacks to end the half.

Let’s not quite start jerking off over that Ohio State game, yet. That might be a 3-4 loss team.SDCJR said:Bellotti never beat a team like Ohio State.
I’m talking about the inconsistency from one week to the next. Not who has the best win regular season win in their career.
-
Bellotti was a way, waaaaay better football coach.
-
Bellotti was a better game day coach. But Mario’s recruiting ability is unmatched.
-
You are going to get everyone’s best effort when you are ranked#4. Plus, if you didn’t expect the Ducks to be distracted after last week, you aren’t around 19-20 yr. olds much. How you blame MC for Brown’s injury is beyond me. He was going to play all of the first half anyway. The play of the freshman in the 4th was pretty encouraging.

Probably correct on game day if we’re getting down to specifics.greenblood said:Bellotti was a better game day coach. But Mario’s recruiting ability is unmatched.
Still, I’m taking the personality of the teams. -
Belloti was good for 1-2 games a year where his team absolutely didn’t show up. 40 point losses at home to Wazzu and at asu type stuff. Mario has him beat there for sure

Pretty sure MC has some at ASU issues as well.ntxduck said:Belloti was good for 1-2 games a year where his team absolutely didn’t show up. 40 point losses at home to Wazzu and at asu type stuff. Mario has him beat there for sure

Bellotti was doing coaching symposiums on his offense to packed houses of national coaches in the 80s while Crystalballs was still shoving nerds into lockers. I don't think a heck of a lot has changed, but obviously Mario is better suited to selling this program in his era.

Team sucked but it was a one possession game late. You guys are forgetting how mike would legit let the team dick around at practice and do absolutely nothing 1-2 weeks a year. Show up Saturday and be down 31-3 at halfMikeSeaver said:

MB's failure was loyalty to NA, as has been mentioned. Continuity is only good if it's good. It destroyed Oregon at the end.ntxduck said:

Having Fife taking the reins before Kellen matured didn't help, and when KC broke his leg Crowton's first year we had the other Leaf. I thought Gary was okay. He ran back to back reverses against Houston in his first game calling the shots, which was pretty badass. I guess that's all I remember.ntxduck said:

Fuck Dudwig. -
Ludwig has been around since Oregon - Cal, Utah, Wisconsin . . . Gawd knows where else.
-
Actually, that was the year Aliotti used a true freshman (Gipson) and a redshirt freshman (Binns) as lockdown single coverage corners until they were exposed. Nick couldn’t adjust.dtd said:

Bend but don’t break Bullshit.
3rd and long. Automatic first down. -

Didn’t win that one without some really bad calls by the refs.

So you’re saying they won?SDCJR said:Didn’t win that one without some really bad calls by the refs.

A 3 loss Oklahoma team.RaceBannon said:
Mikey also followed that “huge” win up with no-showing at home in a 4 td loss to .500 mike stoops and a near shutout 30 point loss in the Vegas bowl to byu. Great season! -
At home, with VERY questionable calls. Ok, you win too. Still won’t compare it with what they did last week.
-
How many losses do you think this tOSU team is going to have?ntxduck said:

Do you think Meat knows that the state of Oregon is to the south of the state of Washington?
Does he know that Oregon is not in Canada? -
Mario C like to keep it clean
-
I'm fucking drunk, and I have to touch this one.SDCJR said:Didn’t win that one without some really bad calls by the refs.
At the end of some quarter there was a kick return, the OU returner stepped oob at the 43. When they swapped ends of the field, they didn't move the ball. 14 free yards for OU.
AD scored on a 3rd an goal where he stepped out of bounds at the fucking 3 yard line.
Twice OU converted 3rd downs after the play clock had been expired for 2 seconds.
The onside kick bullshit was the worst call of all tim, and Oregon still had to go down and score and then stop OU again. And they did both. A bad call is a bad call. The worst call of all tim didn't change the outcome of the game more than half a dozen other calls that weren't as bad in the same fucking game.
Fire off some brain cells, and eat a bag of dicks. -
I was at a game where the punt returner dropped 3 punts in row. Belloti put that fucker back in for a 4th punt return. His game management was lacking at times. Haven’t seem Mario do that.

Indiana 2004 home opener lose was a MB all-timer. 500/200 total yards in Ducks favor. IU HC fired at the end of year.

People whitewash mike because he’s so likeable. There are some awful memories from those years.46XiJCAB said:Indiana 2004 home opener lose was a MB all-timer. 500/200 total yards in Ducks favor. IU HC fired at the end of year.
