Is just Mike Bellotti in disguise.

Came out once again playing down to your opponent playing shit on a stick football and it cost you your starting quarterback and you’ll have to keep your starting 22 in for nearly all 60 minutes.

Both lines were disgusting today.

He’s Mike Bellotti with 10X’s the talent on the field.

Bellotti never beat a team like Ohio State.

Belotti was satisfied with a half-ass DC (Aliotti) for most of his head coaching career at Oregon.

    What happened to Anthony Brown?

    Missed the injury . . .

They haven’t said and he never came back out after halftime.

I saw him grab the side of his knee after back to back sacks to end the half.

Let’s not quite start jerking off over that Ohio State game, yet. That might be a 3-4 loss team.

I’m talking about the inconsistency from one week to the next. Not who has the best win regular season win in their career.

Bellotti was a better game day coach. But Mario’s recruiting ability is unmatched.

You are going to get everyone’s best effort when you are ranked#4. Plus, if you didn’t expect the Ducks to be distracted after last week, you aren’t around 19-20 yr. olds much. How you blame MC for Brown’s injury is beyond me. He was going to play all of the first half anyway. The play of the freshman in the 4th was pretty encouraging.

Probably correct on game day if we’re getting down to specifics.

Still, I’m taking the personality of the teams.

Belloti was good for 1-2 games a year where his team absolutely didn’t show up. 40 point losses at home to Wazzu and at asu type stuff. Mario has him beat there for sure

Bellotti was doing coaching symposiums on his offense to packed houses of national coaches in the 80s while Crystalballs was still shoving nerds into lockers. I don't think a heck of a lot has changed, but obviously Mario is better suited to selling this program in his era.

Team sucked but it was a one possession game late. You guys are forgetting how mike would legit let the team dick around at practice and do absolutely nothing 1-2 weeks a year. Show up Saturday and be down 31-3 at half

MB's failure was loyalty to NA, as has been mentioned. Continuity is only good if it's good. It destroyed Oregon at the end.

And the Ludwig/crowton OC hires. Ludwig especially. 2002-2004 were brutal

Having Fife taking the reins before Kellen matured didn't help, and when KC broke his leg Crowton's first year we had the other Leaf. I thought Gary was okay. He ran back to back reverses against Houston in his first game calling the shots, which was pretty badass. I guess that's all I remember.

    Fuck Dudwig.

Actually, that was the year Aliotti used a true freshman (Gipson) and a redshirt freshman (Binns) as lockdown single coverage corners until they were exposed. Nick couldn’t adjust.

    Bend but don’t break Bullshit.

3rd and long. Automatic first down.

Didn’t win that one without some really bad calls by the refs.
