Short of a Varsity Blues style halftime mutiny that results in a win and new coaching staff, I can’t see how a UW victory tomorrow helps long term.
Sam Huard at halftime:
I hope Sam has a college career that actually gets him drafted to set him up for a less journeyman type of career. But Damon didn’t do terribly for himself. Not many guys play in the NFL for 10+ years. Even fewer have 2 Super Bowls and a National Championship ring.
It's the only way we have even a slim chance of losing Jimmy this year. The misery has to reach a fever pitch with the national media taking notice. He wins tomorrow and he's guaranteed to stick around through '22.
I'm being totally honest in saying that I'll laugh and maybe even clap a little if UW loses. I won't be able to root against them during the game though. I still like to see UW players do well.

Judging by the stub hub thread, that won't be an issue.
