As far as hail merries go you might as well start the freshman against the weakest opponent on the schedule before he gets absolutely brutalized in conference play. And maybe, by some sliver of a chance, he's a revelation and is the spark the offense needs. Assuming John Don is canned of course.
Of course it has a less than 1% chance of actually working, but if you're Jimmy it's certainly better than the current course you're one. -
