Breaking news: i’m a troll.

I don't think anyone actually believed you knew anything. We're just reading the tea leaves of vague posts by Smalls and Huard, as well as the fact that our starting QB and offense have been historically awful and it would almost be reckless to not throw a new guy into the mix (even though we all know that would also end in disaster).backthepack said:Breaking news: i’m a troll.

NFL QB are still pretty decent in collegeRoadTrip said: -
Brock was really good verging on greatness before Nebraska broke him. The Palouse Puke kill your quarterback offense as @Tailgater put it
Damon signed as a free agent in 96 and lasted to 2009 as a backup. Won a ring in NE
I think saying they were wasted here is accurate. Damon won the Whammy and invented football in Oregon the same year. Had a great comeback against Cal in 93. His first two years were on probation -
Damon’s comeback vs Oregon and notre dame were two of my favorites.RaceBannon said:Brock was really good verging on greatness before Nebraska broke him. The Palouse Puke kill your quarterback offense as @Tailgater put it

In fairness he should have led a nice comeback vs Oregon in 95 but Wales shanked the kick. -
UW QB underdeveloped doesn’t transition well to portal valuedoogie said:
So what? Huard gets four free games without sacrificing his portal value one bit.SonnyShackelford said:He is not ready, especially on this shit team

What does Damon want?
Why would Sam have to hit the Portal?
Sam starting, young flaws and all, this weekend is the perfect showcase for his next coach without sacrificing eligibility. -
I’m not positive he will suck. Drop back pass quickly, hand off, play action. Quick reads get rid of ball. It’s not rocket sciencedoogie said:What does Damon want?

Pretty sure Huard can do it better than Morris -
Yep. If he falters or takes a beating, shut him down and redshirt him. If he’s good, the program has some actual momentum and the first bit of positivity they have had since winning the Utah game.doogie said:What does Damon want?

Wouldn’t make sense to start huard until Donovan is gone. Otherwise you’re just setting him up to fail

The regression of Morris is the craziest thing about this season

Montana was the weakest on the schedule. The Javs threw up 50 against Memphis. Not a great team but clearly they have some weapons. Will the UW offense be able to get 30 against them? They will probably need to.GreenRiverGatorz said:As far as hail merries go you might as well start the freshman against the weakest opponent on the schedule before he gets absolutely brutalized in conference play. And maybe, by some sliver of a chance, he's a revelation and is the spark the offense needs. Assuming John Don is canned of course.
Of course it has a less than 1% chance of actually working, but if you're Jimmy it's certainly better than the current course you're one. -
We are averaging less than 10 points against mediocre defense lolKaepsknee said:

*Weakest opponent left. If UW plays Arkansas State to the same level they played Montana and Michigan, we're? getting our asses kicked.Kaepsknee said:
