If you could transport one Husky from the past onto this year’s roster, who would it be?

    BJ Hobart. Undefeated QB.

And NIL would make his toys legal now.

Reggie Williams. How he fell to page 2 of this thread is mindboggling.

You might try reading page one before you make that comment.

But a receiver is a stupid choice anyways.

I could have swore it was @chuck (chuck?) who mentioned Reggie on page 1.

I think a defensive difference-maker has more of an impact than an offensive one. Just my opinion. Therefore, instead of Corey Dillon, I'm going with Stan Emptermann.

Nobody disrupted another team's game plan like he did. Elevated the play of the whole defense with his presence. He fucking wrecked teams. With him on the defense, the load on the offense was decreased by a huge margin.

I started watching and following the Huskies around 1976 or 77, and I don't remember another player that affected other teams like he did, regardless what side of the ball they played on.

    So it's Stan for me.

Stan was too obvious an answer.

As others have said Stan E. If not him, Vita Vea.

It's not sexy but I might switch out Luke Twattenburg for Olin Kreutz. You want a truly nasty offensive line? This is your guy. I think all the other current pieces are dang good but LW has proven to be weak at the point of attack. Kreutz is a borderline HOF center with a screw loose and would rub off on the other guys making for a fun unit to watch.
